I'm trying to find the one of Clippy interrupting a document that begins "Goodbye cruel world" with "It looks like you're trying to commit suicide; would you like help?"

Have you tried being a parallel psychopath instead?

@Tsaukpaetra you might as well not bother typehinting $columns on Search method since you already need to type check it anyway when you get inside…

So, rabbit is 'people who love Python a bit too much'?

@loopback0 I object to the notion that Allman is the crazier of the two.
Oh wait, this is the funny stuff thread. Carry on then.

It would be pretty easy to make a VS extension to format code like this. Just a thought...

There's nothing inherently wrong with not using brackets as long as your text editor can display visual clues to help you distinguis different indent levels, and provides a way to quickly jump to the start and the end of a block, and it all corresponds exactly to the same way the compiler/interpreter/other tooling parses the code.
So basically what I'm saying is replacing brackets with indent levels is a terrible idea.

@boomzilla
I bet it would have a department for Applied Space Science ...
And a big one in case you where wondering

@boomzilla I actually have answers to 3 of those questions.

@HardwareGeek let me guess. #5, #7 and #9?

Close. #4, #7 and #9. Actually, #4 is an approximation, ± about 1 year; it's also the first (and probably most accurate w.r.t. age) of several occurrences. As for #5, I never had an internship that was unpaid.

I don't think any of my pets ran away, they all died or were given away when my dad married my step-mother because of her allergies.
I only had one internship, I did receive a stipend for the summer. It was molecular biology related.
I know my husband's ex-wife's latest name because she kept his. Though I also know her maiden name and the last name of her current husband. I also know her middle name which is an old, generic American name like Sue Ann.
I can't remember all the shows I was disappointed that they cancelled.
Dead Like Me
The Witch Blade
are the only ones that come to mind.

The latter was on the UPN network which canceled its entire first year of programming with the sole exception of Star Trek: Voyager. "Legend" also may have fallen victim to a huge fire at the Old Tucson Studios that would have required either shuting down production or relocating filming anyway.

I was offered sex today with a 26 year old woman. In exchange she wanted me to advertise some bathroom cleaner on TDWTF.
Of course I declined because of my strong morals and willpower. Which is just as strong as Ajax, the super strong bathroom cleaner. Now available in scented lemon or vanilla.
I will also not be telling you that it's now only $0.97 on Amazon
