That's just a part of that sequence. As far as I can see it starts here and goes all along 5th Street/Market Street:
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6988238,-73.9770637,3a,75y,129.24h,85.25t/data=!3m9!1e1!3m7!1sAF1QipO2-1wJnY82vgmvdzgm0jgdmpzkjTXvsJDrfP8Z!2e10!7i8148!8i4074!9m2!1b1!2i30I don't know if there is an easy way to get a map of what pictures a user contributed, but it looks like everything this guy did is of this style. Great work!
-
@Zecc All those that I tried are actually part of sequences. It's amazing.
I love how the seagull is sometimes anonymised and sometimes not.
Also the "coloured ghosts" sequence has a few places where the guy's face isn't properly blurred, but at that level of artistic work it's actually kind of good that we can see him.
-
@remi I actually didn't follow that one because I noticed another sequence crossing that one and I followed that one back to here:
It starts even earlier that the link I posted, though that's where the tube thing first appears AFAICT.
I guess they've made a ton of other sequences in this area and it's easy to get lost following all of them as they cross.
I don't have time for this right now. :/

And I just noticed the seagull sequence crosses (or at least branches) into another one (without seagull) that turns into the one that @boomzilla posted initially:
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6991707,-73.9715301,3a,75y,96.88h,98.03t/data=!3m9!1e1!3m7!1sAF1QipNSNTf0wWmUls6WDJ-9KtlhTVSluJoanGvwXqdN!2e10!7i10600!8i5300!9m2!1b1!2i30I guess they've made a ton of other sequences in this area and it's easy to get lost following all of them as they cross.
I guess so. It's really an amazing work. A couple of pictures would be a fun joke, but this is taking it to another level. I really wish there was an easy way to see all the maps someone contributed. Since it's some sort of (former) industrial park, I imagine Google initially only mapped a couple of main streets and it seems like that guy added all smaller branches, but it's hard to know without exploring everything. Which is the point, I guess.
I don't have time for this right now. :/
Same here. But it's so nice.

I tried that but it doesn't really seem to list all their contributions? Just the area?
Anyway, the fun is in exploring. The tube sequence more or less segues/crosses into a big box sequence. There's just no end to it.

As far as I can tell all the pictures that get listed, although they are in the area, are by them.

There's a restaurant in Quebec that's very committed to being both English and French in equal proportions. For example, they mix the languages on faucets in the toilets - one is marked C for "cold", and the other is marked C for "chaude".

One of my bathroom faucets (side tilting version, as opposed to two knobs) was hooked up backwards. I've thought about fixing it, but there's some kind of wild pig that keeps stopping me

Our tub/shower spigot was reversed most of the over 20 years we've lived here (single lever, start moving it-that's the hot water, need to move lever ~80 degrees to have the proper showering temp).
Then a couple years ago they finally corrected it.
I tried to find an appropriate image, but "uncomfortable" the images weren't very expressive but then "triggered" I thought was a bit overly dramatic.

When we moved out of our old flat a couple of years ago, I had just put in a new kitchen tap, also hooked up backwards. Meant to fix it but never got around to it before we left. My sister in law moved in and never fixed it either
Just these weeks we went to visit and found she got a new sink with the same tap hooked up wrong again, on purpose, because she didn't feel like retraining muscle memory.
