Yeah, Ebay should go and block all sales of a product near a release date.
OTOH, the first run of a console is pretty risky.

Here I am selling an artists impression of how empty my life feels not owning a PS5. NOT SELLING A PS5 itself.
The wining bidder will receive a single, blank, A3, peace of paper with a single tear in the middle. Representing how sad and empty I feel inside.
Any money I receive from the winning bid will go towards buying a PS5 off one of these selfish bastards on eBay. The same bastards who blocked up the internet so people who genuinely wanted them for themselves or their children for Christmas couldn’t buy one. Just so they could sell them for an extortionate amount of money - shame on you.
Thank you for looking happy bidding.
Are you sure this is funny?

@El_Heffe The first three are meh and maybe different back then, but that almost last one, even back then, how did that happen? (Enter me Lord one)
-
@xaade Some of them are fake. "Fingering and Praying" is very badly composited, which doesn't guarantee that it's fake but strongly suggests it. "Enter Me Lord" has apparently never been seen without the Safeway $1.89 sticker or mentioned anywhere outside of these meme collections, and the Dick Handler quartet is actually the Singing Wells Family:

Wait, so that one surprised you more than the actual last one?

I didn't see the last two the first time.

Those expressions say “Dick Handler” to me, despite there only being three of them.

@dkf To me it says "Recursive family tree"

@Mingan “When family trees are not directed acyclic graphs!”

@boomzilla that’s how we all feel.

A few years ago I was making a shopping stop at a Big Lots where the Sally Army had set up a kettle at the entrance. Couple of young guys there were trying to hit on the young girl ringing the bell. I think she handled it well, she was telling them about how S.A. is organized with quasi-military ranks for job titles and everything.

Also, Mary Hinge is slightly too obvious.

@topspin I get the feeling I've seen the movie that foreground family was ripped from. Something about paddling in rapids...?

I've never watched the film but it's this one:
The joke's here:
The film follows a woman, played by Sandra Bullock, as she tries to protect herself and two children from malevolent supernatural entities that make people who look at them go insane and kill themselves.

Sounds like what a Spanish speaker would sayIt has that meaning in English, too, but it's less common.
For a certain marketing website I once maintained, my boss told me that they prefer to "introduce" products rather than call them "new," because that copy probably won't be updated for a long time, and you can always introduce something to someone, even if it's not new.

Now I'm wondering if the raft would have been safer by keeping above a certain speed

In the sense of "you can always insert it in $ORIFICE"?

It's easy to confirm you're not a robot. All you have to do is harm a human being, or through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
(They messed up the Three Laws of Robotics on "The Big Bang Theory" once, trying to decide if Sheldon was a robot. They left out the Second Law, which could have easily proved him human because he clearly doesn't "obey all orders given to him by a human, provided that such obedience does not conflict with the First Law".)

@Luhmann It's entirely possible "a younger person would not understand" applies to people of all ages here.

Or more likely old but completely ignorant of whatever this action figure is supposed to be.

Or more likely old but completely ignorant of whatever this action figure is supposed to be.At an (educated) guess, it's a kit for making your own action figure.
The screws provide for hinges, and the rubber O-rings can be used to provide a centering force for limbs.
Then you just carve a body out of some firewood with your pocket knife.
