gag about that
Yeah, it's good for gags and puns. But how much of these special expressions are actually used seriously (ok, school of fish probably yes; the murders and prides and similar, on the other hand…)?

@Bulb A mesh of neat diagonal lines with regular distances of geese. Rolls right off the tongue!

@loopback0 I read this as “cows” and just did not get it.

Hmmm...KickStarter, anyone?

@Zecc So that we don't lose the number 6 again

@Zecc
In the process of solving the issue with issue n°6 we seem to have misplaced n°9.

Man thinks line is abandoned, gets hit by train
-
@Gąska Reminds me of the ending of Buster Keaton's "One Week".
(Warning: nearly half an hour long. If you want just the relevant gag, jump to about the 23:00 mark.)
-
The train should have
at least come along the rails and not from the side.

If there's rails, assume there will be trains. Even if there's small bushes in the railbed.

Several passes and the most likely sound I'm generating from the image is a "unf unf 😛 unf 💦😍👅" sound. The next likely sound set is a rendition of the devil going down to Georgia....
-
@Tsaukpaetra ...seriously?
Have you never seen Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure? Because if you had, you would instantly know exactly what that picture sounds like.

I do not recognize this show. Will look into it when I have time.

Nope. I was roughly x the age of the target audience when that came out, and I had long ceased finding juvenile teen humor funny.

Ah. So a meme. Too bad "Loss" does not have a sound associated with it.

I love it.
I never did cosplay, but I did ask around once to find out if people ever do characters who are actual real-life people rather than costumed superheroes or other genre characters. Like, did anyone ever go to Comicon dressed as Stan Lee, or Kevin Smith? (Apart from Stan Lee and Kevin Smith themselves, that is.)

When it came out, I was dating the mother of someone who appears as an extra in the classroom scene (she's dressed in white, as a cheerleader). So, too old to be in the same demographic as the characters, but still in touch with that demographic.
-
@boomzilla Must have been an inside-group prank. Few people can recognize the "-E8" upgrade part by sight alone, from a tank they found in a random box of candy. So it's bound to be a targeted attack.

"In touch", you say? Like mother, like daughter?
