I'm getting started on festivals now -- world generation libraries are done, busy storing knowledge, hosting scholars and copying books. In the last world I checked, the Bastion of Reason and the Insightful House were sharing copies of books, classics like Injuries for Everyone, The Secret Of The Path Of The Moon, Do We Understand The Year?, Dissection: Before And After, Life With The Lever, Foraging Behavior For Students, In Pursuit Of The Negation (about proof by contradiction) and Unusual Adhesives.

Microsoft just released Windows 10 build 10041 a couple of weeks ago; this week, the next build, 10049, is out, which has the first public build of the new web browser.
If you're on the Fast Track update path, you should be able to be getting the build now. It shows up in Windows Update as "fbl_impressive 10049 Enterprise" for me.
Modest much?

I felt an MS Paint hat was appropriate in this case:

Did you... did you @-mention me and then it out?
Because it worked. On one hand, makes sense. On the other, it can get damned confusing for people who don't know how this shit works and how to check raw.

Did you... did you @-mention me and then it out?
Maybe … maybe …
I had intended to post in the Mad Hatter Hijinx thread, but forgot to navigate there, so I 'd out the mention.

Now I kinda feel like registering on other Discourse forums and trolling the users using all the Discoexploits we found here

Random copy-pasta from reddit. I lol-ed.
A girl I dated in high school did a few videos at some point. I dated her 20 years ago. In fact, we were each others first. It was a cute, dumb high school romance. We broke up when I went to college. She had a particular birthmark on her lower back, reddish hair and freckles. I continued use her memory in my spank bank her for years. One day about 2 years ago I saw a set of pics on some website that instantly though looked like her. It WAS her. Same birthmark, same physical appearance, only older...MILFy'er. It was just photos but knew that was the same girl. I saw a watermark on the set so I followed the address. BIG mistake.
There were things she would not do as 18 year old high school senior that it was apparent she had no qualms about doing as a 35 year old. Like letting about 10 big black guys run a train on her. It was sad. My memories were totally destroyed.
I got lube in my eye wiping the tears away.

I need to run down to the medical supply store for a bottle of oxygen after watching that.

yeah..... that video kicked off a major coughing fit for me too......
apparatently he recorded something like two hours of video that he edited sown and had a very hard time editing it because of the funny (he notes that in the challenge video that's the same game and usually in the suggested videos at the end)

You'd be better off using the yellow sports car instead.

Why would you not read Girl Genius?
Because I was sadly unaware of it until today. It's them strongly suggesting you start at the beginning, and the beginning being in 2002.
I'm up to April 2005. Only ten more years to catch up on!

I read about the first 5-10 pages, I didn't grab me. Not to say it was bad, it just didn't seem to be going anywhere. Maybe it improves later on...?
-
Good thing we're a protected species; nevertheless, I did find this description of what we taste like:
What I would say, then, is that if you bear in mind that badger tastes somewhat beefy, fox a lot like mountain goat, squirrel like a turkey-lamb chimera, seagull like a rich ducky pheasant with a whisker of cat, and mole like rabbit with a hint of liver, the flavour of hedgehog could be described as follows: delightful initial bursts of badgery foxiness transform into grungy pork nutty acorn with caramalised apple flavours, together playing a subtle counterpoint to a base rhythm of peaty earth and mole. This cacophonic complex of flavours reaches a wild boar crescendo, fading out with the distant cry of seagulls...
I found that on the Grauniad website; I'm kinda surprised it doesn't end with a wine recommendation…

If you didn't like the first few pages, I dunno, you might not care for the rest of it, either. There's plenty of action later, but it may suffer a bit from too many characters. Six years into it, and I'm still not sure who's on which side of the conflict. It's approaching what seems like it should be the climax in, maybe, another six months, or so. I don't know yet where it goes from there. I suppose something will prevent the apparent destination of the current story line from resolving the conflict; I'll find out soon.

Really early on is trying to establish parts of the world (which is important for some things but prolly not the best place to start), I'd maybe suggest book 2 as a stepping on point rather than the first bit (where color starts, but give it maybe that one book before deciding if worth while). Personally at this point I mostly follow it cause I've been doing so for a long time rather than new nifty things.
-
I guess I'm somewhat intimidated by the prospect of getting up to speed on a story which is 13 years in. The last webcomic I read from the start like that was achewood, which even at the time was lapsing into increasingly sporadic updates, and that took the best part of a week...
-
Oh I fully understand that.

They went back and added color to book 1 a few years ago using their current coilorist. Granted, pages 2-8 are still in black and white (Agatha's story until she loses the locket).
Incidentally, if anyone cares, the book the current "new" comics are in is book 14.

Did you write that article?

No :P

Once, after hearing George Carlin's idea for having swan instead of turkey for Thanksgiving (and the kids fighting over who gets the neck), I tried to imagine what swan would taste like.
The description I came up with was "somewhere between stork and pelican, with just a hint of flamingo".
