You know what the sign of a real quality piece of helpdesk software? One where you get so used to copying your resolution messages because it's likely to take two or more attempts to get it through, that you start doing it automatically without thinking about it
Yeah, those things become muscle memory. An old remote access device I had was a little broken and would sometimes send key up/key down events on modifier keys (e.g. Ctrl) while you were holding them so key combinations were unreliable. Only used it for a few months but my fellow admins have pointed out that I still have a habit of copying by hitting "Ctrl+C, C, C" and pasting by hitting "Ctrl+V, V, V".

No, apparently I was reading it wrong. I guess the jail is 11.0, because the base system is 11.0. Despite it not apparently being 11.0.
But anyways, forcing the jail to be 11.1 (and tricking it to actually start) seems to have worked. Yay.

Now I'm sitting here, working on my concept - the open post is supposed to be about QM, budgets and IT, the first and last of which I'm already involved in. Now I "merely" have to lay down in writing my ideas on how to proceed from where we're standing.
My underlying theme will be "Evolution instead of revolution". Let's see what it'll buy me.
So I had some trepidations about writing this. I had some ideas, jotted down some notes but was unclear on how to create a proper document.
Made myself sit down and simply begin to write.
Three hours later I now have a three page document which, hopefully, shows a clear train of thought.

Huh that should have worked, I would have used a bit of heat shrink tubing and about half a droplet of gorilla glue.
Getting that shit off can be tricky, but possible I think...

Yeah, I knew something like that was gonna come up... didn't expect @Lorne-Kates joke about Swampy's favorite pasta though, and I probably should have.
Anyway, I'd rather not discuss it too much, really. I'm feeling miserable enough about as it is, and it isn't wise to discuss finances even if I weren't. In any case, the amounts involved haven't been finalized. I mostly was just mentioning that it happened since i'd talked about it before.

I'm surprised my crappy network connection is handling the live stream; I usually have to let videos buffer for a while. Oh, wait; it's only doing 320x240, so I can't actually read anything you're doing.

As a general rule, you're safe playing music from a video game on a live stream as long as that's not the only content on the stream. Video game music cannot be put into ContentID without banning people from posting videos of that game.

OAuth or OAuth2? Because OAuth2 is extremely simple to set up for the consumer.

If you control both sides, it's very easy; it doesn't even need to be real OAuth. If you control one side and the other side is exactly one of: Azure AD, Microsoft Passport, Facebook, Google, or GitHub, it's somewhat easy. If none of those apply, but you're only the Resource Provider, then it's hard, but not utterly terrible. If you're the Identity Provider, that's a case of justifiable homicide.

@ben_lubar The answer is: I don't give a shit, working with either is a wide-awake nightmare.
