I'm surprised you get much productive done even when you're not checked out, since it must be pretty hard to accomplish things with an out of support web browser. Heck, these days, you probably can't even play Candy Crush at all on FF22.I have Chrome installed. But I also test in FF22. Surprisingly, my shit works in both. It's almost as if coding against bleeding edge quasi-features that may or may not be supported or even work is a bad idea-- but coding against rock-solid well tested web standards means Things Just Work.

well, it is delivering power over ethernet, it's just delivering way more power than ethernet is designed to carry.
there's a reason such a device is known as an etherkiller.

that's probably the worst crime..... the fact that if there's an update to the OS or game you literally cannot play it until it's downloaded.
at least with steam you can play the game before an update is downloaded. Multiplayer might not work until the download is finished, but at least the single player will work.

I'm still a bit pissed at Nintendo ever since 1994.
Okay, so Killer Instinct comes out in the arcade. The local arcade got one. It's cool, the graphics are amazing (for then), hurray. Much quarters, many fun.
The game has a bumper before the demo screen. "Coming to your home in the summer of 1995-- Ultra 64!"
Hell yeah I'm pumped. What a cool name. And this? I get to play THIS game at home-- with graphics like that! And it's just next summer? Ooooo yeah.
Cue delay after delay on the system-- and then price increases-- and then a fucking NAME CHANGE-- and then it only comes with one controller and no game-- and then worstest of all--
no Killer Instincts! not on launch. Not ever.
They release a piece of shit port to SuperNES, for that extra little stomp on the nuts.

WiiU
Was tempted, but haven't gotten around to picking it up yet. I like the IDEA of the screen controller. Was waiting for something really cool to use it. Not sure if that ever happened.
PS4
I'm pretty anti-current generation consoles. Too much fuckery going on with DRM, spyware, game lockout, and in-console ads. I'm not forking over $400+ for that shit. I have enough of a backlog of games already, anyways.

LEGO City is the only Wii U game I've played that makes good use of the GamePad.

If you guessed "The first is the "Primary Monitor" and the second is special because it's the "Not-Primary Monitor"", YOU'RE RIGHT!
Because we want different behaviours with our taskbars depending on whether they're PRIMARY or not!
Why is it so hard to say "Each visible window (that isn't a child of another window) gets its own button on the taskbar, regardless of monitor"? Why am I forced to play pong with my windows across monitors so I can properly order them on the primary taskbar?
WHO TESTED THIS SHIT?!

Yes. Yes, we do.
You can control grouping in the task bar options - scroll down, it's under 'Multiple displays'

Maybe your video card is making windows think they're two different virtual desktops?
Oh, wait, here it is:
Change the "Combine buttons on other taskbars" dropdown at the bottom to match the option in the screenshot.

Not what I'm after either, thanks for playing!
No, I'm talking about how buttons group together and don't allow you to re-order them on whit on the Primary display regardless of the "Combine" setting) yet not so much for other displays.
Though to be fair, it does happen on the other taskbar, apparently Chrome Dev Tools is Different™ than the main chrome application/process/whatever, so it's allowed to have a separate "grouping" of buttons.
No, what I want is complete detachment of the grouping concept. I used to be able to do this in Windows XP (though, at the price of needing a utility), but apparently nobody wanted their windows to be separated or something.
Bah, whatever.

Uh, doesn't the "Combine taskbar buttons"->"Never" option allow that? Or am I still missing something? I've never had a problem moving stuff around on the primary taskbar nor the secondary ones, but I keep my buttons always combined (as you can see), so it's entirely possible I'm missing some aspect.
