I've never seen any game push total RAM usage over about 7.5GB
Some of the poorly optimized games I've played regularly start swapping on my 16Gb machine, especially if there are actually players on the server...
Status: Wow, the Learning Center folks at my workplace are uber serious!
I sent a crack response about how a mandatory training was due the same day, and they not only gave an email response, but within ten minutes of that response initiated a personal call! Now that's service!

Like what? Name and shame.

Ark: Survival Evolved
is one that comes out from the top of the head. I don't keep a list of things like that, so that's the best you're going to get for now.

Of note: @Lorne_Kates has several different IP addresses in several different countries. Interesting.
wat-- is that because of your load balancer, or is that literally my requests came from different IPs. Because they shouldn't.
-
I think it's more of a @Nagesh situation. The first four comments attributed to "Not Lorne Kates" have the same IP address.

Thank you @Tsaukpaetra for finally triggering the XSS bug.

Yep, been there, done that. TeamViewer is one of my (several) oh elgiu I locked myself out of the network fallbacks.
Along with SSH port tunneling, RDP, RDP Gateway, and the primary, a PPTP VPN...

nginx was already set up to send X-Forwarded-For and X-Real-IP. IIS was just ignoring it.

You should get a pretty hairclip to hold it in place.

Actually, that could work out quite well for him; the liquid could fill the hole he's in, and he just swims to the surface
Never dig straight up! You could tunnel into lava! </minecraft>

Have you tried digging up at an angle? Just make sure you're not near any large bodies of liquid.

Also, I'm curious as to how you managed to find lava underground.

Currently wondering which dingbat did the rework of electricity in my physics room.
So, like, all the competent engineers, etc, work in the car industry in Germany or what?

all right. Who clicked?

Seems like it.

Talk to the coding geniuses at Mojang. Also, if you found a pool of molten rock in an underground cave, exposed to air, is it magma or lava? Trick question, in Minecraft there's no such thing as magma. Which makes you wonder where magma cubes come from.

Perhaps a bow or something? I mean, look, you're already wearing cat-ear headphones. A hair clip isn't that much worse.

That would just look ridicilous...
There's a chance that a hair clip or a bow might distract attention from the headphones, thus making the look less ridiculous.

Status: On the phone to my bank because I've forgotten the PIN to my debit card...that I use nearly every day for well over a decade.
Muscle memory did not help as I tried closing my eyes for attempt 4 of 4 before the bank blocked the card.
I did remember the PIN for my credit card which I only use CNP and thus have no need for a PIN normally.
Edit: The bank was very helpful, they offered to give me another 4 goes to remember it rather than mailing me out a new one. I told the girl I didn't think that would help and got wished a better evening instead. That did help a bit.

What's CNP?
I thought "Chip N PIN" but that sounds like it'd need the PIN number.

Status: dammit, Exchange Online, how hard is it to get your spam filters right so that CEO Fraud e-mails score as 9 and get black holed.
When the headers show three different domains for the "From", "X-Sender", and "Reply To", and the body is written in English(Google Translate), it's not legitimate mail. Full stop.
-
What's CNP?
Cardholder Not Present. In the UK you get more protection for using a Credit Card online than a Debit Card. That's the only reason I have one really, that and doing idiotic stuff like forgetting my PIN.
-
Cardholder Not Present.
Ah yes.
That's the only reason I have one really, that and doing idiotic stuff like forgetting my PIN.
Same. I really only have on as a backup, or if I want to buy something with the extra protection credit cards have.

Same. I really only have on as a backup
Yep, I'm really glad of it now. I had a full tank of fuel and a load of food to pay for. Plus the people in the queue behind me were starting to glare.

You're wearing glowing cat-ear headphones, and you're worried a hairclip will look ridiculous?

Cleaning out the top drawer in my desk, looking for just one more quarter so i can have a flipping candy bar from the vending machine on 5 and i find a black bag with something hard in it.... something that turns out to be a shiny blue ball....
WTF?! why would i have that in my desk?

a shiny blue ball
It's for relaxation and tension practice.
Question: Does it make chiming sounds when shaken? I have two that have designs on them that do! Quite hypnotic...

Hmm.... Maybe not exactly what I thought then.
Still, I'm sure you could probably find something to do with a blue ball...
purple dildo spear
Engine thought that was what the image was all about at first, then made some connection with the ball, and things started getting weird so I scrapped that.

Anyway I ended up buying one and a $12 case, I am now officially the last person in North America to buy their first tablet computer.
Negative. I still don't have one. I've been thinking about it for months but don't have a compelling use case yet.
