@sockpuppet7 I don't see any CDATA components...
-
@topspin surprisingly, I even failed at that.
Was at the office from 9 to 5:30 without so much as a lunch break.
-
@Tsaukpaetra might be a DTD that covers that, whether inline or external.
-
@sockpuppet7 I don't see an
order
attribute (for those people who don't trust documents to be in document order) and there's a worrying lack of XML namespaces.
-
@dkf xml namespaces, another thing that added nothing but annoyance to our lives
-
@sockpuppet7 Oh, they added to the great tapestry of our collective lives.
...
But mostly just XML parser bugs and a lot of extra characters to transfer and process in our documents...

Serious answer:
In order for a thunderstorm to be considered severe, it must create at least one of the following:
Hail that is one (1) inch in diameter or larger
Winds of 58 miles per hour (mph) or greater
Flooding gets a separate watch/warning.

@Tsaukpaetra Don't remind. Some time ago I took ESP8266 with intention to make a simple redirector. Then I added blinkenlights, commands, configuration, monitoring, ASCII art... then it all got too convoluted, so I remade with classes (as far as my C# brainrot allowed me). It's... uh... currently somewhere on the shelf collecting dust, ne'er to be powered on again.

My prototype temperature monitor thing is in a similar state. This one will be different though, as I have real active use for it!

@Tsaukpaetra if I had a dollar for every time this popped up, Iâd have two dollars. Which isnât much, but itâs weird that it happened twice.

I don't have time either, most of it I should be doing something else

If people only came here when they have time there would be no one here.

If people only did anything when they "had time" they wouldn't exist.

Status: Is it me or are 2024 editions of everything super late?
I mentioned before I was trying to track down a 2024 minting of a British coin. I found one store listing, overseas with a significant premium, so I assume they're still forthcoming. But so many auto maker sites are still advertising 2023 models. Last time I bought a new car, it was a given that CURRENT_YEAR+1 started showing up in fall of CURRENT_YEAR. It's almost June and Jeep, for example, is still selling 2023 Renegades?
-
@Zenith but they're selling 2024 Wranglers so maybe they just haven't updated the Renegade?
I've got a 2024 Audi that was made in summer last year.
-
@loopback0 OK, apparently they all updated in the last month or so, because all I was seeing before across most brands was 2023s at a 2:1 ratio against 2024s, and I just happened to recheck the only one that didn't get updated.
Edit: No, wait, just the Japanese ones removed the 2023s. Still several on the American sites. Even the new Ford Bronco is still listed as 2023.

I'm trying to match up a list of folders named after UUIDs (). VSCode is helpfully using a natural sorting algorithm, which probably makes sense for most use-cases [and why I'm not putting this in WTF Bites), but utterly fails at a logical sorting of UUIDs.

Could it be that makers are starting to realize having yearly" releases" of products isn't necessarily a good thing?
