That's basically a Mad Max no-man's-land.
"Oh noes, their mud-streaked redneck pickup trucks covered in Confederate flags ain't moving! They tried honking their horns, but since all the horns play the first 12 notes of 'Dixie' it's really confusing!"
Have you even met someone who thinks they might have heard of Mad Max back when the original one came out? Your apparent understanding of Mad Max seems to indicate that you have not had even that much contact with the franchise.

north of Everett and south of, say, Bellingham
Based on previous comments, I thought you either lived north of Everett or took US-2 to I-5, which would put you in that traffic mess. But I was wrong, either totally, or you live far enough east that you take another route to get to I-5. Whatever.
-
you either lived north of Everett
Thus far my scant knowledge of the area indicates that this still may be true. Namely, because of this statement:
@blakeyrat said:Nobody north of Everett and south of, say, Bellingham is worth thinking about.

Someone has being fucking about with the target platform and manifests again. Someone is about to receive a strongly worded email.

FTFMBecause C.S Lewis, or because it'd be cool with a talking beaver?

Blakey's probably going to be in an even worse mood than usual.
Well, you were right about this, at least.
It's also not a very difficult prediction, since Blakey's default mood is "worse than usual".

My point is there's a LOT of talking beaver movies.

... And for some reason associating castor canadensis with female genitalia seems to appeal to our baser instincts?

Indeed it does. I'll be having one for dinner.

Although you were replying to @fox, the juxtaposition of your post immediately following @Mikael_Svahnberg's caused ... confusing ... mental images.

Oh, just because. No reason at all, really.

In my time dealing with that thing, I like some things about it a lot, except like three:
- If you run it on C#, you have to run Tidy on it as well if you use generics. That's completely stupid.
- Getting dot working isn't hard, but is still weird and y
- The default style is among the ugliest things I've ever seen. Slackware's website looks better.
- To fix point 56722, you can substitute some css. Great. But it doesn't apply to the tree or this one other element I forgot, so you have to paste them in afterward as well.
- You have to write a shell script to do half these things.
-
US-2 to I-5, which would put you in that traffic mess.
Look at a map.
That traffic mess was way north of where 2 meets I5.

It's edit 418 now.
-
yes, but I failed with making that status on 417.
should have tested how discourse handled title edits instead of assuming that i coould make two edits in quick succession to increment the edit count by two. (the first edit removed an exclamation from the previous title to try and hide the shenanigans i was attempting)

Make sure it can run SSL! :)

You really should know Discourse better than that.

You're way late.

Removing yourself from the delete button is fine. Or we should rename you to @rc4mac.

I think I would delete myself if the latter were the case.

I even had to link that moron idiot dumbhead stinky brain to a Wikipedia article that featured the word 'mebibyte' in the first sentence!

Huh? I dunno; I was just going by what I heard on the radio news. They said Boeing Freeway, which is south of 2.
-
Oh, was it 526 or 528? I might have dyslexia'd the numbers.
Ether way, by the time I'd gotten there, the truck had been cleared for ages.
-
the truck had been cleared for ages
From the way the radio report was worded, I think the truck may have already been cleared then, but traffic was still FUBAR. Glad it cleared up before you got there.
