You wouldn't buy a shirt like that unless you owned at least $500 worth of Nintendo products. You also wouldn't buy a shirt that promotes their products unless you were "OMG SUPER NINTENDO FAN NUMBER ONE!" Because normal people don't pay money to give free advertising to someone else.
So therefore my conclusion is sound and I am a super-genius, that is my cite.

false.
I do not own any Nintendo consoles beyond a couple of secondhand gameboy handhelds of various genrations.

False, you cannot cite yourself as primary source. That is not a proper citation.
-
I don't believe you.
-
I don't believe you.
I am sorry that you mistrust the veracity of my words, nevertheless what i say is true:
I have never bought, nor recieved any Nintendo console as the primary purchaser, not have i ever owned a Nintendo Wii not a Nintendo WiiU.
I have purchased and enjoyed secondhand GameBoy consoles, none of these consoles were purchased new, not were they purchased from Authorized Resellers, They were instead purchased from the Local Independant Book/Game/DVD/CD shop
I cannot help it if you doubt the veracity of my words, but these are the facts of the matter.
-
I thought Sam put it to 1000, but, I guess not.
-
I almost certainly own that much stuff, since I have a 3DS and Wii U. Even so, the only Nintendo shirt I own is one someone bought for me with Boo on it. I also have one with a picture of the Duck Hunt blaster, but I don't think it's official. Still, people constantly wear shirts that advertise for bands and such, and pay to do so happily.
As for this shirt, I can only assume it exists to shame men, since it doesn't even display any attempt to understand the characters. It's rather funny to me, because for all the 'men like powerless women' I hear, I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't prefer strong characters, male or female.
But either way, it's a dumb shirt. People can buy what they want.

No-one else is going to say it, but YHBT (again), YHL, HAND.

Bitcoins are becoming more personal?

bitcoins for the proletariat!
down with the bitcoin bourgeoisie!!!

Not really. Just stupider, if you can believe it:
https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/41124-pre-ann-chvz-chavezcoin-100-pos-free-distribution/ChavezCoin is a digital currency with a socialist ideology and an established north; a new economic model for the free world, decentralized e independent from the traditional banking system.
ChavezCoin comes as an opportunity to the Venezuelan people to have a currency traded and accepted worldwide, a new currency that start from scratch and will gain value with the effort and work of all the people involved in the project, where the actions of the governments and banks has no consequences over the value of the coin, making us, the people, the only responsible for the empowering of our economy.
Right now Venezuela is going through a rough patch, with several problems, scarcity, high inflation rates, rampant crime and a problematic currency control that make almost impossible to obtain international currency via legal ways, forcing the people to use the hyperinflated black market, making our currency worthless.

Apparently explaining what something is on its own website is stupid and not done there.
Are these just another Bitcoin clone?

Never seen this style of Captcha thing before.
Any word(s)?And yes, it accepted that answer.

It's pretty clear that no one with any sort of power in Venezuela has much of a clue when it comes to economics. This doesn't really look any sillier than what got them their toilet paper shortages to begin with.
-
You should maybe try farting the Star Wars theme while doing so ...
-
true. but at the same time. they don't have a clue about economics, would they have a clue about cryptography?
-
Aren't they just taking the work of someone else and slapping a new name on it?

Status: Received yet another email about a job that I'm not even slightly qualified for. In fact, I don't even know this means:
2+ years of experience leverating R, or Excel for data analysis
In other news:
- Pulling money out of my 401(k) to live on.
- Got a request for a face-to-face interview for a local job next week. Cautiously optimistic.
-
The only results for "leverating R" seem to just return what I assume is the same listing.
Googling "leverating" returns a book about Leverating Lotus Notes

Status: sometimes I think I'm the only person in the universe with a critical eye.
The TPMS in my car went off, ok. No big deal, the weather's colder and the tires are 2-years-old, I'm not surprised they need an air top-off.
But the message on the dash reads:
Tire Pressure LOW
And it's driving me crazy because WHY IS THE WORD "LOW" IN ALL CAPS THERE?
it doesn't match the style used ANYWHERE ELSE on the car's computer system or dash display. Nobody at Ford questioned this? Nobody saw this mistake? Jesus.
-
I was assuming it was a misspelling of leveraging. Since the Amazon listing doesn't have any picture of the book, I'm not ruling out the possibility of a misspelling there, too. In any case, I remain entirely unqualified for (and uninterested in) the job. I've (ab)used Excel for a lot of things, but heavy-duty data analysis isn't really one of them.
-
-
"In reply to" is too much to read?
That's how you avoid paying for translators, I guess.
-
-
-
Try "leveraging". Seems to fit...

Because normal people don't pay money to give free advertising to someone else
I don't know, I've been advertising quite a few rock bands on myself.
And since I might not be the best example of a normal person, I also know a lot of normal people who do.
-
Aren't they just taking the work of someone else and slapping their name on it?
Basically, yeah, you change a few #defines, search and replace a few things, and presto.
And if you're too stupid to do even that, there are generators to do that automatically for a fine.
Also, there was once a plan to do the same for Iceland - lots of hype, huge plans to distribute the currency among Icelanders, even a few politicians took note. By today's market value, everybody who signed up got like $1.

Status: It's just about a half hour til the end of the workday and I'm pretty much ready to go home now.
At least there's no emergencies happening right now, so I can hopefully enjoy my weekend (while still having to ignore my work email from about 8:30pm to 10:00pm every night).

Status: They let us out 90 minutes early today due to the holiday on Monday. Also, a customer asked me about a particular report that they have to file by September 30th every year: it changed for 2015, and were we going to update our application to support the new version? *cringe* "Uh, this is actually the first I'd heard of that." So I guess I know what I'll be doing Tuesday. Fortunately they were able to to produce it on their own this time.

What throws me off about it is that it does a fade-in/fade-out on desktop, and on iPad, it just looks wrong all the time:
Looks wrong on mobile too:

Quick, let's have a 100-post discussion over on meta.d to determine whether it should be grey!

...and then another 100 posts to determine the shade of grey?
Feel free to make up your own S&M joke.

Status: I am...out of booze.
Out.
The fuck.
Of booze.
God. Damnit.
Status: Went to Costco tonight. First time since I ran out of booze as we have been busy. Bought 1.75l of Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker black, gin, tequila, vodka, etc. I should be set for a while.
