Done selling glow sticks.
-
At a rave?
-
-
Not quite. Our town does free concerts on Fridays in the summer, and local schools send volunteers to sell glow sticks as fundraisers. I'm also trying to get my Cub Scout pack in on the racket for next year.
-
Saturday. At work. Fixing the mess left behind. Should be done by monday noon-ish at the latest. Hopes are not high.

Cleaning out the shed... mostly done, now. Only the shed remains.

Man vs Shed?
Two things enter, everything leaves?
I dunno, I'm just trying to find a fun comment.

Man vs Shed?
So true. The shed contained all the wood panelling from an old cottage I wanted to restore before people pointed out the status of the walls and advised me that since I was already getting a completely new roof, attic and all, I should also consider getting new walls and a new foundation. That was a year ago, but I'm a master of procrastination.
Current status: the shed is mostly empty but still stands. Will see to remedy that next week.

Knocking down the shed or filling it up?
The shed will have to go!Filed under: it's beyond repair anyway

The funny bit? People had the same error I do on Windows as well. But other than deleting some config file (which didn't work for me) there are no confirmed fixes, and I just gave up because I don't have the time for that shit.

I only have 3 Mediocre Poster badges, I has a momentary sad.
-
How about "Almost the most"? I think it fits in better with the badge names in general.
-
Went with it for now. I'll see how it pans out.

Well to be fair, XNA hasn't been supported in a long time, and it was never supported in WINE.
Everybody else moved on to MonoGame, you should check that out. Runs in Linux natively and all that.

Are you checking your emails while having breakfast?

Agreed, known, and would likely switch. But I can't: it's not my game, and even if I had the inclination and the time, I can't port it myself since it's closed source.
I got this game as a present at the time it still worked in Wine. So either something got mucked up in some update to whichever component (Wine, .NET, XNA if it even received any in the last year or so), or it just hates both the intel and radeon drivers I use, since I changed computers in the meantime. Those drivers/cards run more complex stuff just fine btw.
