Status: My proxying code works! I can now boot and use our systems from off campus without having the VPN up. (It's a very restricted proxy that only does UDP and only to the hardware under the control of the service.) It's all routed over an authenticated secured websocket so it's all nice and clean.
I still need to do quite a bit of work on the client library so it's all transparent to our user tools. But it's definitely time for

No programming for you.

If it's any consolation, cotton isn't necessarily the best choice for warm, winter socks. Winter, at least everywhere I've lived, tends to be the wettest part of the year, and cotton is not a good fiber for warmth when it's wet.

Cotton's good for wicking perspiration away from the body. Wool is good for holding heat next to the body.

They'd eat away some of my plants, including the cotton plant, and leave behind some.
No thanks!

Skipping breakfast, getting over-caffeinated and reposting week old memes.
Finishing off bootstrap stuff you assigned me. Almost done.

There's always a bit of timing slop, better repeat the test.

@DogsB Idiotic UI decisions are why I wish they'd get their act together and just release a standalone rendering control like IE has.

Who the Shit managed to get Internet Explorer running on iOS?!?
-
@Tsaukpaetra Nobody that I know of. But it's trivial to embed the renderer in a Windows Forms application. Trying to do the same with Firefox or Webkit derivatives is a different story.
-
@Zenith Not so different. Unless you mean "it doesn't work". GeckoFx is a third-party effort that hasn't been updated and is crashy and leaky as fuck. Although there's v60, which should still work with most sites, that I haven't tested myself.
CefSharp is... well, it's also a third-party effort. Chromium does something, CEF gets to updating something, then CefSharp gets to updating something, with something lost in every step. If you can trust Chromium to begin with and find a version that works, it's okay. For a Windows-only target WebView2 seems like a better idea.
Not sure why would anyone touch Webkit with anything but Archimedes lever...
-
@Applied-Mediocrity That's what I mean. As long as you have IE installed, the WebBrowser control Just Works (insofar as any HipsterScript duhvelopers let IE work). I never found anything for the other browsers that actually worked.
