I like this thread....and cats!

This is what we need a "DOWN VOTE" button for. Did not discurse guys copy stackoverflow?

I'm not really a cat person. And I hate freaking cat images. But...
Sometimes, you find a kindred spirit in the weirdest of places...

Found out a few months ago that Grumpy Cat and I share the same birthday.
Which I consider an improvement from the previous "youngest celebrity to share my birthday": Jamie Lyn Spears.

I wanted to find a 100MP picture of Tardar Sauce so I could post it here and keep up my reputation.
But it seems that all the large pictures of grumpy cat do not include grumpy cat.
So here's one of the images I found:

I'm not a gif sharing guy. But this is just awesomely done:

How I feel about the World Cup:

You're still purring days after the germans won?

I'll just leave this here
I'd say the last one is Gowron, but I'm not sure that he's not a cartoon character already:

Yes, I'm using this as a "dump random funny-ish shit here" thread.
No, I have no idea who the guy is, don't use twitter, got it linked.

Does anyone know what sort of cat that is?

German?

An angry one, I suppose.
Filed under: serves you well for your jokes in that other thread

White-ish.

So we have angry, German and white so far. I don't like where this is going...

Longhair (obviously) sealpoint Himalayan?
The Google image results for that search don't seem anywhere near as awesome as the picture.

Take out the "obviously."
More seriously, could be Persian as well. F'rex:
I'd guess it's a kitten, and in addition to being a longhair, got its hair frizzed up. Maybe it's humid outside.
-
I'd need an army of Roombas to deal with that I think.
-
Most likely. Like with everything, you have to prioritize. When I was younger I had an all-black Turkish Van. Long hair is annoying to deal with but she was a great cat.

I should probably mention that I have two of those. (That one's not mine, just a Google image search for "corgi hair.")

So it's an Aryan.

That's two of the four canonical cat/watermelon pics. Here's the other two:

Why do you have a fuzzy cat?
-
I've burned out 2 roombas with our 20 pound cat.
He thinks they're self-propelled cat thrones.
I no longer own roombas.
-
you say broken roomba i say opportunity to make the franken-roomba from tartarus.
using a couple of these for the drive motors will make sure that nothing can stop your cleaning machine of doom.
i mean two of those will power one of our 120lb robots at speeds up to 20m/s! it should have no trouble moving a roomba and a cat passenger, even if that cat is a mountain lion.
-
Nope! Not giving him a high-powered robot throne.
Not after finding this under the guest bed:
**DAY 752 -** My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.
DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair... must try this on their bed.
DAY 762 - Slept all day so that I could annoy my captors with sleep depriving, incessant pleas for food at ungodly hours of the night.
DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was... Hmmm. Not working according to plan ...
DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth.
DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer." More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.
DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The Bird on the other hand has got to be an informant. He has mastered their frightful tongue. (something akin to mole speak) and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time...

Tape loops are usually enough to keep cats off things.
-
Tape loops
I've had a 50/50 success rate with that. Sometimes you just get a cat with taped-down fur wandering around, with huge dust/fur-bunnies attached.
-

Hah. But you could probably get a funny Youtube video out of it.
-
The ad revenue might pay for the next Roomba.
-
I never did like cats. This just confirms it.

I hope you're happy :(
