I've been bodybuilding for a few years now. No 'muscular' option? Athletic doesn't seem quite accurate.

How are you finding time? I am trying running, but only able to do 2 times a week.
-

I have a 1.5-2hr workout every day, and I don't let anything else get scheduled in that time.
-
Please edit the poll. It is not letting me make change after 5 minutes.
-
Only exercise I seem to need is a ½hr walk home 3 or 4 times a week. Rest of my diet I control by calorific intake.

I can't either. It was partly a joke just to get a link to Morph in there...
-

I am drinking 6 litres of water every day, but it is not helping much for my pot belly. I am also think, that it is result of beer consumption. Best not to consume beer when I have pot belly. I am eating cauliflower and broccoli to reduce my pot belly, but it is not helping. Today only, my pant button broke, when I tried to squeeze my stomach in my pants.
-
I am also think, that it is result of beer consumption.
Not because "it's beer." It's because "it's calories." The fact that beer has a quite a few calories is the reason - average is around 200 Kcal per pint, with some reaching 250Kcal. About the same as a chocolate bar.
A ½ hr walk, by comparison, will burn (depending on your weight, and the speed you walk) around 180Kcal
-
I am also eating many five star bars in a week. Do you get five-star in UK, consider that Cadbury is UK based company?
Related Node: Five star advertisement in India.
-
No. Got stand up desks installed last week, though. 500 free calories per day!
-
I am also eating many five star bars in a week
That certainly won't be helping, not at 125Kcal a pop.
Do you get five-star in UK
Nope. Well I've not seen them anyway - not that I go looking at the chocolate section anyway. Wikipedia seems to indicate it's an India only thing.
-
You also need to add...
- Skinny with pot belly plus ass and back problems.
-
I'm missing "pear shaped", "rotund", "chubby" and, of course, "What is this physical exercise thing you are talking about?"
-
One of my favourite things about the old Slashdot (going back a few years now) was the fact that all polls had a “CowboyNeil” option, typically used to indicate that the poll was stupid and shouldn't have been asked in the first place.
The current crew running the place have no sense of history.
-
all [slashdot] polls had a “CowboyNeil” option
Yup, I'm missing that one, too. But at least they have a "what is..." option in the current poll.
-
But...they sure have sensationalized posts...

File under: We need to come up with a way to create urgency and neurosis in our readers to amp up the eyeballs on our nonsensical website pages! How do we do that?

Where is "appears athletic but is actually 30 pounds overweight, but you can't tell that unless you see me without a shirt?"
Lately my only exercise has been trail-riding with my dirt bike. It's mild cardio and works the arms and legs a fair bit. I didn't think it counted for much but 2 - 3 times a week for a couple months actually knocked about 20 points off my blood pressure and lowered my resting pulse by about 15 as well.

And of course, despite being a huge Red Dwarf fan, I managed to forget Polymorph:
-
You'll bonk anything, won't you Lister?
-
I don't like Red Dwarf.
-
Best would be, Athletic, but hes let self go. I only really have any fat around my belly (the healthiest kind!).
I get a fair amount of physical exercise. Somewhere around 2-6 hours of very strenuous exercise, plus an hour or two of lower impact stuff per week.
-
-
I don't like Red Dwarf.
If you don't like Red Dwarf you're technically not alive. You might want to get that checked.
-
If you don't like Red Dwarf you're practically dead. You might want to get that checked
I am hearing of this dwarf for first time. So I maybe dead as well.

What edit? I did not edit anything. Any case what option did you choose on the pole?

I did. But you quoted me as I was doing the edit so you quoted the non-edited version.

Super skinny. Well, ok, could be even worse, but compared to other people around me... Nothing sticks to me, and the kind of food I eat is often the stuff that should, by conventional wisdom, give me a heart attack before I'm even done with the meal.
With my commuting I don't really have much time to exercise, and when when I do I'm pretty beat and sick of it all. Looking into buying a foldable bike though, so I can replace a part of my commuting with that instead of the bus.
-

You bastard.
I eat as little as possible not to bring my metabolism to a grinding halt, decently healthy too (aside from occasional $1 spaghetti when I'm on the run), and I'm still 83kg/183 cm (183lbs / 6' for you 'Muricans).
Doesn't sound so bad, but it sure looks like I'm pregnant with Adipose.
-
I'm about the same. 5' 11", 180 pounds, and I probably average less than 1500 calories a day.
-
where is the option for "My body is actively trying to kill me"?

Stop inhalation of various toxins and then you are safe.

Do you eat wafers?

I've never smoked in my life.
Smoking is not all the bad. Classic Menthol is refreshing to brain.
-
Smoking is for fish and sausages.

-
"Doctor", I said, "I tried to do something and it hurt."
He answered "then don't do it any more."
So I quit exercising.
I always follow my doctor's advice.
-

You are slim!!! 97 kg / 185 cm (15 stone or 213 lb and 6' 1'' for those not yet converted to metric).

6'3", 195 lbs here.

Incidentally, I found this helpful a couple of years back when losing > 2st/28lb/13kg. Still use the tracking feature, if only on a weekly/monthly basis rather than daily as I used to.

I found one forum called myfitnesspal.com
It is forum of fat people who like to talk about food they are craving, food they are eating and food they need to avoid. Great support group, I think. If you think you're fat, you will like it there. No judgment passing
folksahes like me.
Although I personally think weight don't matter much. What matter is your fitness levels.
Fitness level determine by:
a) Blood Sugar / Cholesterol / Blood Pressure
b) Obesity
c) Degree of Tiredness
d) Your personal outlook on thingies. If you keep that in mind, you'll be better than 89% of people on this planet.

Should try my link then. He recommends using Excel as part of your regime.
Really. :
Why So Many Versions?
The Hacker's Diet spreadsheets were originally developed in 1990 with Excel 2.1 on Microsoft Windows 3.1.
Mitigation - he does provide an online version which is a lot saner...

Tracking your health metrics seems like a completely legitimate use of Excel.

No, that's no good - he doesn't seem to provide a forum where one could ridicule Excel.Filed under: I wonder how many people download the Excel 2.1 version these days
