What? Why is this even a thing? I don't even...

What? Why is this even a thing? I don't even...
MS has been doing some Baron Harkonen style long term thinking. They've been abusing everyone with their ALL CAPS STYLING to get us to welcome our title case savior.
-
What? Why is this even a thing? I don't even...
That is why it is a bad idea ... Now hoping they'll put the option in Office and other applications too.
-
Being rather careless where you hold your hog-roast BBQ. When you're the diversity-concious BBC.
-
And then I'll send you, Title Case. Beautiful Title Case... Hrrrmm... ATWOOD! WHERE'S MY ATWOOD?
Filed under: The sad part is, I didn't even have to look this up...
-
I prefer to hope that it was intentional and therefore belongs in the evil ideas thread.

That's silly.Random case however would be cool. A different VStudio every day!

Being in the possession of unsolicited images:
Two year conditional discharge, £500 (US$850) fine.
Bonus bad idea #2 - letting the police view stuff on your phone when they have no reason to:
The depraved images were found after police stopped them for unrelated matters and discovered the shock images upon inspecting their mobile phones,
Bonus bad idea #3 - not knowing how your phone works:
Kelly said he had deleted the received videos from his WhatsApp, adding that he was unaware that images were saved to his camera roll.
Other bad ideas ('extreme porn' as a specific offence, defending yourself) present are simply givens.
-
The entirety of the extreme porn law is something that should never have been made law. The way it is worded, you can actually be done for images you don't even have, if you have an image that is part of a series where some other image in the series is outside the law.

I didn't wait. I used the registry workaround.

AirBnB.
"Airbnb’s business is not a simple app like Twitter, Instagram or WhatsApp, where the service is entirely virtual,” said Sam Hamadeh, founder and chief executive of PrivCo, which analyzes private companies, in an email. “Most of Airbnb’s business is inherently unlawful, violating a combination of short-term hotel regulations and taxation, tenant leases relating to subletting, and condominium and co-op bylaws requiring board approval for any sublets.”
Also, AirBnB squatters.

Bringing entitled vegetarians to a steakhouse.
For some reason, my brain persistently insists on reading the name of that web site as "freebacon."
-
Free bacon?! Where?!
-
There ain't no such thing as free bacon.
-
Damn.
-
Damn you all, capitalist pigs. I'm starting the baconist movement! Bacon for everyone!

What does capitalist bacon made from capitalist pigs taste like?

Ironically delicious.

Like entitled vegans? We'll deal with them later.

Wait... WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?
Is... is it only me, but... @HardwareGeek just replied to @boomzilla, even quoting him (which should remove the "Reply to" link, as per observed behavior). And he linked a post by @PJH.
And now... his post is showing as a reply to @PJH... But.. Quote... Override...
DISCOURSISTENCY!
-
2/3:
Quote @boomzilla
Link to post by @PJH
Reply to @boomzillaI did actually reply to @PJH, so dicksores got it right.
-
So... Quote didn't override it? Did we find an edge case that was not noticed before, or did someone actually listen to our bitching and fixed something silently?
Because I'm pretty sure any kind of quote used to screw up the "reply to" link before.
-

Yeah, Jeff said, "Mumble mumble quote someone, you're actually replying to them mumble mumble something blog post."

Mumble mumble quote someone, you're actually replying to them mumble mumble something blog post.
Filed under: apparently if you quote yourself, you might want to consult a psychiatrist

Like entitled vegans? We'll deal with them later.
You are what you eat.
I eat cows.
Cows are herbivores.
Therefore I am a vegetarian.
-
I eat pizza.
Pizza contains bread, cheese, tomato, and meat.
I am bread, cheese, tomato, and meat.
-
Something about the fact that they're not round making them.... "more difficult to counterfeit."
Apparently. Or something.
It's the bleeding edge of coin technology.

-
You are what you eat.I eat cows.Cows are herbivores. Therefore I am a vegetarian.
I coined a term for that. I call it being a transitive vegetarian.
Filed under: Note to pedantic dickweeds: independently coined, if the term is already in use it just a matter of convergence
-
I'm a part-time vegetarian, myself.

Not enough space for the athletic track?
Just build the rectangular one.

Going for a walk in floodwater immediately after a storm:
But on the bright side...
Mum Claire Sowden, 34, of Hallet Road, Canvey, said: “Sophie all of a
sudden dropped [into a drain hidden by floodwater, opened precisely because there was floodwater to drain] and was only saved from falling further by her thighs.Hooray for childhood obesity!!:
-
As in Duchess Potato?
What does a specific dish have to do with someone who self identifies as a vegan?
-
Technically on the athletic track the track was rounded properly but had no lines so they did the lines as a rectangle to get it done quickly for an inspection. Or at least that is what I saw about it.
-
Probably something to do with the fact the recipe includes things like eggs and butter, thus it isn't vegan.
-
I liked it as a joke more because a duchess is entitled. Figuratively, as kids today might put it.

As per PM from @dkf:
It was just a cheap-ass joke. To be consumed with a Baron of Beef.
Edit: From what I can find, it appears to be a British thing. A Baron of Beef appears to be roughly equivalent to two unseparated sirloins.
-
to get it done quickly for an inspection
If that passes any inspection, I'd say it's a very shitty inspection.
