What to expect when you're Discoursing?

Adding emojicons by hand? What are we, cavemen?
Besides, should I be modifying quotes in that way? Seems uncivilized to put emojicons in other people's mouths.
-
I removed the "full:true" part.
Because it isn't a full quote.

That means you paid, expect much better customer service than we got.
Oooooooohhh maybe we should stage an covert incursion. Politely point out the problems we've found and maybe start a mass banning there too. ^_^Just noticed it took a while to load the nested quotes into the reply box. Anyone tried a thread with ten to maybe a hundred nested quotes?
-
Well, that's a way to do it too.
Only thing you need to know to do that is internals of Discourse's logic. Sounds reasonable to me!
-
I was't even attempting to interact with the site in any way at the time.
You had the site open. Discourse takes that as interacting, because reading is better than writing.

Also, if you use Discourse, the terrorists win. Jeff Atwood is one of the founding members of ISIS and Discourse is their official discussion platform.
Something something Donald Trump something remnants... I need coffee.
-
Didn't Jeff once say, essentially, "Developers, yeah, you're different," and that Discourse wasn't designed for us?

expect much better customer service
But it's still Mr. Head-Up-Ass servicing you, so don't expect too much.

-
For example: he won't ban you until your cheque clears.

That isn't mobile. Mobile is different.
-
Pray tell, what is your definition of mobile?
-
As I said above, I don't really do Discourse on mobile, but I think that looks like desktop layout on a mobile device.
-
In this case, the Discourse mobile theme. The one you have in front of you if you have a menu item saying "Desktop view" when you open the hamburger.
-
Holy fuck this was ugly! Please never ever make me click that option again.

That's an interestingemphasized text* colour scheme for the navigation buttons and clock etc.

Huh. Didn't know Cool Tool still works...

I'm not sure whether is almost as bad, equally bad, or worse, but it quite reminds me of a site I was looking at just a few minutes ago, trying to look up some records in the Santa Clara County Clerk-Recorder's office. The main search menu is #0000ee (
-webkit-link
) text on #000060 (explicitbgcolor
attribute) background.
