"Modern term for made up bullshit", you heard the man.

Looked it up. Worse than I imagined.
The child deserves the response it got.
Hope I don't offend any fluid genders here.

there's more than a few of us that are in a non traditional gendered state, and yeah you probably offended a good portion of us.

Actually, that's about maybe 2-3% of rthe population, if you include actual gay people.

Somehow, that sounds like it cannot possibly not be insulting. But I don't have a clue who of.
-
Gay isn't a gender, it's a sexuality.

Gender is gender, sexuality is sexuality. they are two different concepts that while there is strong correlation between them are not the same thing.

If more people would be comfortable with the genitalia they had, the world would be a much simpler place.

People is complicated!
:-P

I fail to see how someone's crotch giblets should have influence over who they is, though enough have issue with things either personally or due to other's self picked category that apparently I'm abnormal for that.
-
hmm I looked it up too,
non-binary
is the term used . No problem with what people want to identify as (seriously non of my fucking business), but gender-studies should at least stick to Latin words like medicine and leave CS alone. Next someone wants to sort me in a red-black tree. Doctors use Latin to sound important, and if this has something to do with anatomy (or physiology) the moron who first invented the word should have done the same.
-
BINARY IS AN ANGLICIZED LATIN WORD YOU IDIOT.
And it's not just used in CS.
-
Actually, that's about maybe 2-3% of rthe population, if you include actual gay people.
I've read this when you posted. I've re-read this when @Yamikuronue quoted you.But only when @accalia quoted you did I notice the 'rthe' typo.
It looks like I'm confirmation-biased D-:
Also, android's stock browser crashed 3 times while I composed this post. How can you get that wrong?

BINARY IS AN ANGLICIZED LATIN WORD YOU IDIOT.
I give you 7,5 on the Blakey Scale. Next time use a stronger insult then IDIOT to get an even higher score!
-
use a stronger insult then IDIOT
like fucknugget idiot?
<Pretty sure you meant Than, fucknugget idiot>

Other people have torn you apart for assuming sexuality has anything to do with gender state, but I would also like to point out that estimates of how many people are gay vary heavily depending on the questionnaire format. Specifically, to get as low as 2-3% requires people being asked face to face, a situation where many people who aren't ready to come out or live in an area where being gay is frowned upon are going to claim straightness. Other estimates are 10% plus

This post was jeffed out of Funny Stuff, in case you're unaware.

Like... fluid? What CS concept uses that word?
Or are you referring to binary, which is a Latin word?
Either I'm confused or you're stupid.

God should have made it so that our mating logic had things like keyed plugs on it, so that it could only get wired up one way.
-
I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I suppose.
-
-
right, but from what I remember from biology classes something with bis or bi is more like the medical jargon.
Similar to bisexual this could be bigender (?)
-
Bi means both. Binary means one or the other. Not really helping your case are you

Because it's deprecated and can't get updates.......

You're stumbling upon the feminism vs. transgendered intersectionality paradox.
You can't claim transgendered if there aren't any gender roles.
But, if gender roles are derived from physical properties due to evolution, instead of social properties due to upbringing, then you can have transgendered people.
The fact that feminism is desperate to stay alive, and invent intersectionality while trying to sweep the paradox under the rug, shows how hypocritical they really are.
TIL The people that shout ____ist the most, are usually the ones that are ____ist.
If more people would be comfortable with other people, the world would be a much simpler place.
Some people aren't comfortable having thumbs, so they seek for the right to have surgery to chop them off. We say these people have a mental disease and need help.
Some people aren't comfortable in their minds; they don't like mental stimulation and so they bash their head against a wall until it bleeds in order to get the signal to stop.
At some point you're going to say, "No, you shouldn't do that to yourself".
I'm not talking to the transgendered people, I'm just saying that you shouldn't be comfortable with everything a person does that doesn't harm others. At some point you have to give a damn about another person's health.
Either I'm confused or you're stupid.
The terminology sounds silly because the person is rejecting the notion's behind it.
Terminology usually doesn't matter all that much. We have weird names for some animals.
God should have made it so that our mating logic had things like keyed plugs on it, so that it could only get wired up one way.
The problem is internal wiring.
Look, there are mental problems that I have that I wouldn't want to change about myself, because I'm now comfortable with it. Some people would want me to change them.
Example: Not wanting to be around large crowds.
I know there are advantages and disadvantages to whatever the hell is wrong with me. So, the way I look at it. These people have obvious mental or biological problems, but they are comfortable with it now. I know what I believe God has said about some of them, and I take this approach.
If you ask me what I believe, I will warn you, and if persistently asked, I will talk about it.
If you start a topic about it, I will warn that I have certain beliefs. I will only talk about it if people insinuate that they are misinterpreted or the can of worms is already open.Otherwise, in day to day life, I keep it to myself.
I feel that this is a fair compromise that protects my religious rights, and the comfort level of others.
And, what I've said in this post, can be interpreted as for or against homosexuality, so don't get your panties tied up.

So....
God made more universal standards?
Because I have no problem connecting to an Asian female.
It's humans that have to change standards so that we're nationally incompatible. National-ists?
-
Because I have no problem connecting to an Asian female.
Mine doesn't reach that far. I'd have trouble reaching a Canadian female. Even a Milwaukee female would be a stretch.
-
-
At some point you're going to say "no, you shouldn't do that to yourself".
Right, and you'll be in full right to do so. It's not about you, your opinion and what and to whom you say. It's about how much shit people are forced to give about what you say.
It doesn't matter whether you, me or some other guy deems gender-bending stupid,as long as people can do those stupid things.
-
Even a Milwaukee female would be a stretch.
If your female starts to stretch, you should probably let off some air.
-
It's not about you, your opinion and what and to whom you say. It's about how much shit people are forced to give about what you say.
I find this funny, because given other mental/biology deviations from the norm, people would say something entirely different.
The only difference is whether we agree, as a society, on whether the person is harming themselves.
My statement was more directed to the fact that people say, "They aren't harming others, so it doesn't matter." And that statement is simply not true.
What they should be saying is, "I don't believe they are harming themselves." Which, of course, is entirely subjective.
EDIT:
On reflection, there are people that would say "they aren't harming others, so it doesn't matter" and truly mean it.
I don't think this is common enough to alter my previous statements.
I could be wrong.
-
But it doesn't matter.
You can't go around banning things you personally don't like. That's like, basic rule of freedom. Rule number one.
-
I don't think this is common enough to alter my previous statement.
Do you think that all those heterosexual people waving rainbow flags around find the concept of two guys going intimate any less squicky than you or me?
I personally find it bloody disgusting. But it's not my problem.
-
You can't go around banning things you personally don't like.
I don't.
I just find somethings morally wrong, but I don't ban them, because you can't legislate morality. You have to let people make mistakes.
I personally find it bloody disgusting. But it's not my problem.
There is at least one person in an mental institute that is completely harmless. And is only harmful to themselves.
Again, we don't as a society completely ignore "harm to self" as a reason apply restriction to rights.
There are people that would say, people should have a right to suicide. But the majority of people don't think that.
So, "doesn't harm other people" isn't the be-all to determine whether something should be illegal.
The idea of consent revolves totally around someone "harming themselves" especially for under-age people. They can't consent to whatever the action is, because they can't determine the harm they are about to cause themselves.

Maybe you should get out of your mom's basement more often.

You can't go around banning things you personally don't like. That's like, basic rule of freedom. Rule number one.
Yet the politicians manage to ban things they don't like. For example, cash payment in Scandinavia (can't remember which of the three countries exactly does this; I think Norway).you can't legislate morality
Sure you can. Murders are banned in (almost?) all civilized countries.
-
As opposed to littleender?
Well, some people like big butts, some don't. A matter of taste.
(the first kind is generally more trustworthy)
There are people that would say, people should have a right to suicide. But the majority of people don't think that.
Cite your shit? If the person has a reasonable cause to off themselves (say, a crippling and painful terminal illness), there's a lit of support for that.
under-age people
Which we generally assume can't decide for themselves. Whether it's a reasonable assumption or not is another matter, but for the sake of this discussion it's totally irrelevant.
Yet the politicians manage to ban things they don't like.
When did "it's totally wrong to do that" ever stop anybody, much less politicians?
-
(the first kind is generally more trustworthy)
Verily, what thou hast done hath been observéd.
-
Sure you can. Murders are banned in (almost?) all civilized countries.
That's not morality, that's rights.
Morality encompasses more than just outcome based ethics.
