STATUS: My friend and I hit level 50 in Vindictus. I use a hammer and shield, and am so slow that I can only even attack bosses after my counter stuns them, but my friend gets most of the aggro, so I chase bosses around as they chase him around, and then die from attacks that inexplicably hit behind the boss with no warning, as the boss attacks him. His attacks are quick, so he can roll out between hits, so he usually finishes the boss while my corpse gets bashed around the arena.
Really we just need a third person. One of my other friends is probably going to join us soon though. I'll also be trying a character who actually has some speed, though. Fiona is the best, because countering can stop most boss attacks and stun them in the process, but no one sells her equipment, so I'm hilariously underequipped.

Goddamned, my buddies and I in college made "where there's a whip, there's a way" jokes for years and years. Love it.
Sure, make a joke and everyone laughs. Then keep telling the same joke over and over until it's dead then KEEP TELLING IT you humorless dick.

Ha, this one has the lyrics in English on it. Such an unhappy song.

Status: Watching a rollback that's stuck at 6%, with the estimated time to completion going up 10 seconds in every 1, and is basically stopping all of our websites working.
Yay.
The only saving grace is I know for a fact it's not my fault.

SMBC over the past few weeks has left a trail of bitter disappointments and empty promises.

Back to procedural code with PHP...
I thought PHP supported "Contains(obj)", but then I realized:
- Your FormData probably has different object types than existingData
- I've never once had PHP properly compare objects to objects, so even if it did have Contains, it's probably implemented wrong

Monks or bit loafers?

There's a second: thanks to having replication, we can nuke the primary and not lose any data

Just waiting for the: Disk Read Error: Cyclic Redundancy Check Failed.
Won't see that; it's an Azure DB

The CIO requested "Free Bird"
What's good is that your CIO has taste. What's not so good is that someone knew to forward it to youβ¦

I approve of that choice
i wonder if you would approve of what i played to satisfy the request....

Status: studying Linux sysadmin course. Every word I read makes me like Windows more and more. Not even joking, $200 per license seems cheap now if I never have to deal with remembering whether a file goes in /etc/bullshit.d or /var/spool/bullcrap and how I'm supposed to escape special characters in this particular file.

i take it you don't approve of my music tastes?
and anyway i did play the real one after!

You music tastes are fine, and yes I read that you played the real one after.
What you probably should have played:

Yeah, I also know how slow they are and that there's no suitable function for "find first element that matches a filter function and then stop".
And now I also know my notifications don't work.
Fuck.

Old Status: Closed ~130 cyclomatic complexity Sonar defects.
So you aren't impressed, they were all on autogenerated equals and hashCode methods
-
Now I understand why the comment at the top of any .NET auto-generated code states that the code was generated by a tool

And here I thought the code generator was making a statement about how it saw me.

I don't know what that means, so no, I don't think I do natural nubers.

Status: Completed the difficult portion of the revamp of my organization's website, rewriting the header and footer without using Javascript and only using a single .css file, in two days. Tomorrow I'll copy over the content from the old site, and finally our website will run smoothly and be human-editable.

It's hard to tell, but the atrium I'm in overlaps a stairwell.

That happened to me a bit too.
For a while I had no idea what to do, was stuck in an elevator before finding out how to maze-run and just hugged the wall until I got out.
