I'll see your contrabass sax and raise you a hyperbass flute:
Roberto Fabbriciani - Concerto per flauto iperbasso – 03:27
— Roberto Fabbriciani
Slightly more reasonable, and capable of playing real music, the subcontrabass flute:
Peter Sheridan plays the SubContra Bass Flute – 03:20
— brundl

I was considering posting this subcontrabass flute
World's Largest Flute: the Subcontrabass – 02:25
— Jen Krameror an octobasse
Up Close With A Curator: Octobasse – 03:16
— MIMphxbut they just started to sounded like hitting drain pipes or a train rumbling in the distance.
Meanwhile found this video of tuba "which sounds like a jackhammer a block away":

A metal mesh at or slightly below water level will take care of that.
Of course it results in a different problem.

A spinning blade on each side of the mesh will take care of both problems.

Shit will hit the fan. That's the joke, right?Rats are the best.
I nearly giggled to tears when I saw them swim in place, so elegantly.

I wanted to add that one should skip to 2:20 for that part.

I've posted that video on this forum like 47 times, I demand credit.
Every time it get to the Universe's Worst Fake Dog, I can't stop myself from laughing like a lunatic.

If only it were possible to search for videos in posts... The only location I've managed to track down is (unsurprisingly) in a post of you in a Doctor Who thread, and I could only find it because flabdablet mentioned the title later on.Every time it get to the Universe's Worst Fake Dog, I can't stop myself from laughing like a lunatic.
Oh, so that's what it was. At least it moved, unlike Granny or that parakeet. They got me at Dalek Jr though.

This totally isn't dumb:
Is it random? Otherwise I think you got the wrong thread...

I doubt it relates to any of the videos posted so far. So, yeah, it's pretty random.

William Tell was Swiss, right? Other than that, I can't imagine what made someone think "here's a thing that needs to exist":
Mary Schneider - Yodelling Overtures – 03:18
— German Music Channel
-
Germany's Food - The Truth Aka German's Food - The Truth (1946) – 09:12
— British PathĂ©At about 7:45 they talk about making "sausage" from wood.

William Tell was Swiss, right?
That might make sense if it were only William Tell, but with Carmen and Orphée aux enfers, not so much.
"Australian queen of yodeling" — I don't suppose there's a lot of pretenders to that throne.

It's a good thing it wasn't Russian, or it would be even stranger…

Man, I love that clip. You know that guy won the Over-Actor's Emmy that year.
-
In 1946? I'm sure they were. And it was probably better than what the Japanese were eating.
-
You know that guy won the Over-Actor's Emmy that year.
Impossible. That's not Brian Blessed.

I think this video shows the upper bound on how much randomness a SFM animation can have while still being funny.

This is BRIAN BLESSED...
-
Impossible. That's not Brian Blessed.
Maybe Brian Blessed wasn't in any movies that year. Shit, "you meddlesome hussy!" almost qualifies him right there, not to mention "the Nimon be praised" along with up fucking twinkles.

I really love that every time I try to fullscreen a video here, Discourse instead decides to send me to the top of the page.
Wait, not love. The other thing.
-
Brian Blessed is in every British movie and TV show made between about 1974 and 1997. I think that's safe to say.
Even some American efforts, like:
Gordon's Alive?! – 00:33

Why would you have a "good day sir!" without the "I SAID GOOD DAY!" part.
Pfft.

For anyone who doesn't know - the Nordschleife is a race track which is part of the NĂĽrburgring in Germany and outside of races is technically operated as a public toll road (complete with speed limits in some sections) so some days it's possible to go round in most road legal vehicles.

Standard DHL driver.

So he just filmed a normal day's traffic, added obnoxious race sound effects, and we're supposed to laugh because it's like "haha an old 80s Chevy Suburban on a racetrack! hahaha!"
Because I'm not laughing.

I guess.

No.
we're supposed to laugh because it's like "haha an old 80s Chevy Suburban on a racetrack! hahaha!"
If you want. It's not like I put it in the Funny Stuff topic.
Because I'm not laughing.
Ok.
