Errr... Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't think Microsoft added the option to write Universal apps in VB5. Though I guess you could emulate Win95 on today's smartphones, so there's that...

Isn't this technically what @ben_lubar did with logging @fbmac's edit history? Or is NodeBB so hip that it uses some newfangled non-text-file for logging?
There is "regular" logging and then there is "events" logging. The fbmac thing is in events, which are stored in the db.

Those mp3 videos have grown to over 22,000....
Some bad data too. 33 of the files have metadata that seems to have an end of file in them...
The catalog option would put them out to the text file but searhes would terminate when the first EOF was encountered.Bad directory info as well came with these mp3 files and folders.
The directory call never failed this badly before...
I have to start task manager before for I test so I can kill the search.
I'll try moving the problem files to a new folder....Note when you share files they should be somewhat clean...

Precisely. The screenshot I posted was from NodeBB's support forum.

Nor did I.
But I've usually these types of menu buttons with three dots arranged horizontally (ellipses) instead of vertically, which threw me off for a while, such that I thought that posts weren't editable.

Yeah, I think they were going for an Android feel? Maybe a squished hamburger? Maybe? Who knows.

Did you try jamming it in slo-mo? That seems to cause extra dots, I think.

Nobody shares MUSIC better than this
I recently have been collecting music, resulting in over 24,000 mp3 songs.
What a great database to test, sample and play..The app uses a prompted entry like this:
" female / greatest / jazz / blues / best / Celtic "
to randomly play matches on any of up to 6 keysNotepad was used to put the word " female " on the links to the favorite female artists
For Sharing Tunes:
Nothing shares better, when You have control like this.A friend had a specific Genre that he wanted. there were 36 matches.
This is one thing that SSDS does well ... Extract - coping these files to another folder.. In a few seconds those requested tunes are moved to His USB stick. For the most part I have been ambivalent about music but not no more!!
I'd like to have 10 times as many songs. Then I could really show off...
The problem with having all the formats in one or 2 folders is another use of the Extract
move copies of all .mp3 files to a separate folder
move copies of all .jpg files to a separate folder
move copies of all .wma files to a separate folder (maybe convert wma to mp3)
.
.
move the other file types till you have done most of them..Then DELETE the original folder that contained all the files.
I also build a link files, so random wma song links can be passed along to another player through the clipboard...

The back of my computer has 3 pairs of USB ports right next to each other. You could, for example, plug his and her cables into side-by-side ports and connect BOTH your phones at the same time.
There's not a lot of reasons to do so, but you could do it.

@error I really hope the idea of a transgendered electrical or mechanical connector never gets invented. The entire point of calling the sticking-out part male and the hole part female is so we have a consistent way of knowing which end we're dealing with.
But maybe we can call them master and slave instead.

I've found many people with huge audio collections complaining about the 32GB size of most smart phones when they have hundreds of GB on their computer...
The SSDS solution is to COPY thousands of RANDOM songs to a USB stick and put those files on their phone. Do this every week or two so that the selection is always fresh.Share and Share randomly..

The connector had several desirable properties:
- Good control of the electrical impedance across a wide range of frequencies, therefore low reflection >
- Reliable mating >
- Hermaphrodism, so there were no "male" or "female" connectors; any GR connector could mate with any other GR connector.
-
@HardwareGeek That's not transgendered, that's bisexual.

Or... just...
I don't even. There are about a thousand better ways to accomplish what you're describing.
Never mind the full-on inaccurate data or the fact that howtf do you copy the contents of a USB stick to an iDevice....Does SSDS even run on anything later than... like... Vista?
I hope not...

IIRC the standard response for these sorts of issues was that anyone here who felt like porting it from VB5 to something more modern on Swampy's behalf was welcome to do so.
