Post the beer you're drinking here. I'll start: Victory Storm King.
Cheers.

Bells Two Hearted
-
Not drinking them right now, but these are lined up for tonight's rugby match (Wales v France).
Leffe Blonde, Dubbel, and my favourite; Innis and Gunn.
-
Root beer.
-
Not Your Father's?
-
Not Your Father's?
Is it so obvious that I'm living in his basement?
Also no, my father has a shitty taste in beer, IIRC.
-
-
Oh, I guess I ed then.
-
Oh, I guess I ed then.
eeh. happens to everyone.
thou TBQH Not Your Father's Ginger Ale is about 10x superior to their root beer line
-
-
bit too sweet that for my tastes.
goood, yes, just a smidge too sweet.
-
-
Pour that over ice and add a slice of lime.
Or add vodka and lime juice and have the best fucking Moscow Mule on earth.
-
Now you people can tell me how awful I am, like when I mentioned Heineken.
-
-
I tried that a few days ago. Honestly I didn't think it was that great. I think I could buy average root beer and add some vodka and it'd taste the same, for significantly cheaper.
I haven't had Not Your Father's, either the root beer or the ginger ale. I do like ginger ale...
I saw Best Damn and was considering picking up a 6-pack of it, but I looked closer and it was some of that 3.2% ABV supermarket swill.
-
Hands up, everyone who always knew @blakeyrat's a hipster.
-
PBR hasn't been a hipster beer in like 5 years.
-
I wasn't fond of it at all, but then, I'm not the biggest ginger ale fan either.
-
Oh yeah, I love the Coney Island stuff.
-
PBR hasn't been a hipster beer in like 5 years.
Is there a registry or something where I can find out what is and isn't hipster? I'm asking for a friend.
-
In: restaurants that serve macaroni and cheese as an entree.
Out: PBR

You used to be able to get that at TGI Fridays! It's since been demoted to a side.
500 Server error
-
I think drinking previously hipster beer that isn't in among hipsters is a very hipster thing to do, though.
Holy shit, I just blew my own mind. I always thought you needed to get some ribs surgically removed to do that.
-
Ophelia Hoppy Wheat. It is passible, but nothing to look for.
500 error
-
Also no, my father has a shitty taste in beer, IIRC.
Anything is better than root beer, and root beer is not real beer.
-

I always knew you would be a canned-beer type of awful

I think he means mac and cheese from the blue box.

Heineken comes primarily in bottles over here. Probably different in different markets though.

So now it's bottled piss instead of canned piss?
-
Pretty much yes.

Olive Garden, virtually every entree consists of a combination of pasta + cheese.
-
Olive Garden ... pasta
Based on how badly they overcook things I wouldn't really call them pasta dishes. If you screw up the main ingredient as badly as they do it needs a new name.
-
I'm like 90% sure they just cook up a ton of every kind of pasta they serve and then use the (cold) pre-cooked pasta to throw together the actual dish you ordered and heat it up. For that to work well, you have to cook the pasta not quite all the way, and then the pasta cooks a little bit more in the process of putting the actual dish together and heating it up.
If it's always overcooked, it's probably because the
cookkitchen slave didn't work quickly enough, and/or didn't correctly par-cook the entire batch of pasta to begin with. I.e., probably a lack of proper training and/or knowing how the food was supposed to end up.It probably varies from location to location. I haven't really found it to be the case at the locations I've been to.

Yes, I believe I said that:
didn't work quickly enough

Looks good so far
Wait a minute
-
@hungrier What's the matter? They likely added "citra" beer hop which introduces its particular set of flavors.

No, the IPA was a dead giveaway that it's garbage not fit for human consumption.

I'm ok with a slight citrus flavour. Goose IPA for example is a good one where even though it says "citrus" right on the can it tastes alright. But as I posted the other day I've found that "juicy" is a codeword for "extremely citrusy"

-
I wish I could find a funny name IPA that I would buy again. "Octopus Wants To Fight IPA" loses this round.

@boomzilla
It's Dutch beer spilling it would have been an improvement
