Oh... I thought this is Halloween
Have you ever considered how fucked it is that Marilyn Manson made that song for a Disney movie?
-
Oh whoops, I meant to link to the Danny Elfman (aka movie) version of the song, not the Marilyn Manson version.
-
Oh whoops, you did, and Marilyn Manson only covered the song.
TIL and all that.

#1 annoyance developing for win10: <i hate you discourse, why must I escape that?
There is no TreeControl in the current XAML, or really any other hierarchical control, so I had to write my own, which crashes if it goes too deep. <I hate you discourse, why must this be italicized?
I hate discourse. This post will always look italicized in the preview.

Right, no WPF at all in fact.
-
Oh right, it's UWP, isn't it? The thing that's almost, but not quite, entirely unlike WPF. There's got to be a NuGet package somewhere...

It has most of what you need most of the time. There are odd differences, like ContentControls defaulting their
ContentAlignment
s to Left and Top instead of Stretch, a bunch of new touchy controls, and less type support (particularly annoying for ItemsControl, where you can't give DataTemplate a type!) in general, but mostly it works great. The TreeView is an omission that makes me genuinely annoyed, though.
