Status: this stupid episode of Frasier where Niles has heart surgery is really really really well-done. And the concept of the hospital having memories is brilliant.
... also at some point in this show, I guess after he leaves Maris, Niles becomes basically the protagonist of the show. I mean Frasier's still there of course, but more than half of the "A" stories in episodes revolve around Niles. And Niles (and his relationship with his dad) is a hell of a lot more likable than Frasier ever was.
So anyway.

Instead of bringing my work to a halt, how about Git just clean up a couple files each time it runs? Or how about it be developed by competent non-idiots so it could have, you know, a service to take care of shit like this without bugging the shit out of the user?
In your normal day-to-day use case how about you stop committing random huge binary files to the repo? Or using git lfs? Did you even try it last time someone suggested it? Use the right toolTM for the job.
P.S. It will get only worse, unless you stop using it as dropbox

So don't use Git at all?
I'd love to, but I don't make that decision at work.

Use
git lfs
it is very simple

Use git lfs it is very simple
No. No it is not. There's nothing involving the word "git" which is very simple.
Go away now.

Like
git lfs track *.zip
?Here is the deal:
- You are fucked, you have to use it.
- You can learn how to use it properly (CLI) and enjoy it, or goto 1
Go away now.
I am planing to come closer actually, I like Seattle

Blakeyrat's all
I have not learned this technology therefore it must be doing EVERYTHING wrong.

Think whatever you want about me. I'm entitled to my opinions.

It is more like:
I have learned this technology half-arsed, and insist on using shitty GUI, therefore it must be doing EVERYTHING wrong. I am a weenie afraid of dark-skin terminal colors of CLI.

As long as you don't use Whitesmiths or Horstman. Though I imagine Fox finds both of those to be microagressively named.
They're both Abomination, but not because of the names. That part rests squarely in your imagination.
But, more importantly, they're both still better than Ratliff, which I hypothesize is named in honor of Blakeyrat based on how utterly
diabolicalnonsensical it is.

There are the K&R variants (of which I like 1TBS) and then there are the ones which are wrong.

STATUS: Performing a skype job interview, with screen share.
Gave the guy Mott's excellent CSV task.
I'm recording, but probably won't post details. The candidate is sort of mediocre, but seem to be getting the job done. Will probably hire him. Nothing much to talk about.

STATUS : annoyed
Somebody has being fucking with their autoformatter again. The white space, indentation and brace style has being fucked with again making code reviews annoying. I sense there is an idiot with very little to do and a fetish for bike shedding.

Oh I know who did it. Just thinking of passive aggressive way to get my point across. I'll have them know I'm very cross and this is an urgent issue that must never arise again.blame

Status: My troubles with package delivery continue. Monday there were two packages from Amazon that never showed up, but showed as delivered. I call the USPS this morning and they tell me that they have a new system where they can store the GPS coordinates of the carrier when they scanned the package. It turns out that they delivered my package to $HOUSE_NUMBER + 200.
That is a pretty nifty innovation on their part. I am impressed by that out of our government. It is an uncharacteristically good idea.

Status: Insert five mafia threads. Muted.

If you're trying to just insert the mafia threads, you're doing it wrong. You need to start slow, allow time to get all warmed up and ready to go before you insert them.

None of the above is happening. None of it. Dumb pointless spam is now muted.

Yes? This is now the third post where I'll tell you I've done so, I guess. Thanks.
It's seriously the spammiest category by far.
-
Sorry, just sounded like you were muting them individually. It sounded horrendously inefficient.

It's the first time I've used the feature, and I have to say that it's the easiest feature on this site to figure out.

that's neat.
it would be neater if they could actually deliver your package to the correct house.

No argument there. It would also be neat if when they scanned the package it told them they were not at the right address. Baby steps @accalia. They are moving at the speed of government.

-10 °C is double digits but still rather cold

Also, how do I bold text?
You hit Ctrl+B at the start, then hit Ctrl+B at the end to turn off bold.

12 degrees here, with snow. Saw lots of emergency lights enroute to school today.....

-10 °C is double digits but still rather cold
As it is 10F here right now, those two are ~=.
-
-10 °C is double digits but still rather cold
But it's kind of like three digits since you need that extra character.

263 ºK, Shirley.

So -1 °C would have been sufficient to make this joke! Do'h!

Woah! Shirley really is a fridge!

Status: This week has been the most infuriating, depressing, and unproductive week I've had at work.
I can't get any work on the project I'm supposed to be working on because of "little things" that keep coming up all the time that end up taking a lot of my time.
Current problem, apparently (supposedly) Apple's iOS 9.2.1 update broke something in the mobile app we wrote. Our OSX dev station is saying XCode is up-to-date, with our simulator running only iOS 9.2, and with no other updates to perform. If it is something I have to fix in the app itself, I have to actually update ~20 apps.
And this day is currently only half over.
