Google: What country is...

Found this just now while wondering if my transfer of a large file was too slow:
-
To be fair, I'm not sure my hard drive could go over 60MB/s anyway.
-
I'm transferring two large files from one external drive (connected via a PCIE USB3.0 card) to two separate drives housed in an external enclosure (plugged in to the same PCIE expansion), and getting 27MB/S for each transfer.
I'm also running a VM off one of the enclosure drives, so there's some extra throughput there, but I think one or more of the hard drives is the bottleneck.
-
27MB/S
Sounds about right for hard drives. USB isn't going to be the bottleneck for anything mechanical like that.

I've noticed that the pull-blurb thing google does is right exactly 0% of the time. It is other flat out wrong, or it pulls a chunk of the page out that does not actually contain the answer.
"What is the butterfat percentage of Skim Milk?"
"Skim milk is whole milk that has gone through a process of removing butterfat from the product. It has a lower percentage of fat than whole, regular or 1% milk. On average, the amount of butterfat is"

Weird, Google suddenly thinks I want UK results?
Filed under: When the gremlins decide to move your entire city to another country without you noticing it...

I got US results despite being in the UK.
THANKS, GOOGLE!

What if I move my PC to belgium and remote into it?

What would you expect to happen?

What would you expect to happen?
RDP not working because the word Belgium gets censored in the connection string?

What would you expect to happen?
A slightly better connection speed than running a cat6 ethernet cable through a couple of countries and the English Channel. Both of these seem better options than emigrating

Join the Dark Side. We have fries and chocolate and beer!

But not necessarily all in one go.
What??? You mean you don't have beer-battered deep-fried chocolate??? (I'm sure someone's done it...)
-

OK, that just scares me.

Metalic is the name of the bad guy from a 1980s cartoon series starring US Marines who wear robot suits that transform into various types of cookware. Also they have a cute mascot who is a robot olive.
I did not make this up.
Which makes it even more disturbing that you know this.

I suspect it's a country that is bolded in the introduction of the Wiki article
That was my thought after third posted screenshot or so.
I'm surprised it took so long before someone noticed, aren't we supposed to be good at spotting patterns?
