🎂The cupcake thread of celebrations.

If whole milk is 3% and reduced fat is 2%, would condensed be 5%?
Condensed milk is about 9% (and the sugar level is much higher too). The 5% mark is about where some breeds of cattle (in the UK, the Jersey and Guernsey breeds, don't know about elsewhere) produce.

CTRL+ALT+/ brings this up:

"okay google how do I take screenshots on a dhromebook"
how does one pronounce dhromebook in lojban? Or English, for that matter? Is it a voiced or voiceless sound?

I seem to recall a similar topic regarding the pronunciation of @dhromed's username... CBA to search for it tho.

It also works with CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+/, also known as CTRL+ALT+?.
-
h isn't a letter in lojban. Actually, it is - it's capital
'
. But you can't put it between consonants. If you wanted the lojbanized spelling, it's
drombyk
.Here's a shitty formant speech synthesis of that:

Capital single quote? Lojban's weird.

FTFY. And @ben_lubar is pendantic about his particular insanity.

one does not preclude the other.

I think this might have been the joke.

Delayed by several months due to missing one day. Also hoping to challenge the cupcake fairy to come up with something a little different than the usual attendance cupcakes.

googles 'school cupcakes'

ICHIBAN!
README.md is auto generated from the documentation, as are api docs by travis, which is then picked up by readthedocs.org automatically on a per branch manner!
i do have a slight issue of it leaking my API key that i have to sort out. but i'll sort that out and invalidate the leaked one.
-
-
How did you get Travis to be able to commit as himself?!
i messed with git config.
gulp.task('gitConfig', (done) => { git.exec({ args: 'config user.name "Travis-CI"' }, () => { git.exec({ args: 'config user.email "Travis-CI@servercooties.com"' }, () => { done(); }); }); });
or in a bash script:
git config user.name "Travis-CI"; git config user.email "Travis-CI@servercooties.com";
;-)
Jelly.
ooh! jellypotatocupcake!

It's the big one. Today I am celebrating my wedding. Ceremony in 8 hours
-
-
I am celebrating the completed sale of my house.

And this time it's *permanent!*

I'm celebrating more outside-work work! After being flown halfway across the world at the start of the year I'm now being flown somewhere else to be an expert again in another event. I'm beginning to like this

I'm celebrating getting over a phobia of mine enough to unmute my mic in a voice chat with online friends.
-meep- it was scary, but only in my head, and only because my phobia had to be a poo-poo party pooper.
-
-
I'm a dad again.
-
Congrats, but the "again" raises some uncomfortable questions.
Edit: buttuming the again wasn't supposed to indicate a gap in dad status, but that is how I parsed it at first.

*mumble grumble timezones grumble*
In all seriousness, it's always good to face down and defeat one's fears
"That which does not kill me only makes me stronger."
-
Divided by a common language wouldn't surprise me. Here (in The Netherlands) saying "I'm a dad again" (but in Dutch) would simply indicate birth of a second child, without gap in the dad status, though I agree it's weird when logically analysing the sentence.

In addition to being Fathers' Day and the first day of summer (for us Northern Hemisphere people; too bad for the Aussies and Kiwis), there is a reason for all of us to celebrate — the birthday of the world's first stored-program computer:

"That which does not kill me only makes me stronger."
Unless it maims you. Breaking your neck may not kill you, but good luck actually doing anything.
-
Divided by a common language wouldn't surprise me.
Nah, just tired and tipsy when I said that, normal parsing goes the way you expected.

Take it up with Nietzsche

I was born on the winter solstice, so this really was the longest night of the year for my mom.
-

-
That doesn't quite work . Nice effort though!

I think this is a full-sized cake, not a cupcake, but I didn't find any suitable cupcakes.
Edit: How the heck did this end up in the status thread when I was replying to a post in the cupcake thread??? If a mod would like to Jeff this to the appropriate topic, I would have no objection.
