How to add awesome into your day

Maybe this is more your thing?

Maybe Blakey was emulating an order from my supervisor, and not one of my starcraft responses?
We need _____.
Will do, sir.
-
That looks promising. With warm weather here, I don't really need it, but I'll keep it in mind for next winter.
-
I find it amusing that this thread was entirely derailed by Blakey, the king of GET OUT OF MY THREAD
extremely effectively too.
my only question is..... did he know who he was summoning when he made that comment?

If you hadn't got there first, I might have taken the opportunity instead

Oh, only the best RTS game series in human history.
-
Ah, right, nothing I should be worried about then.
-
-
Well,
I'm sure someone is glad you ladies put your asses out there.
I'm so sorry, I couldn't help it.
so sorry
-
Isn't that what "-romantic" vs. "-sexual" are for?
-
I think I'm a boobsexual myself.
-
Basically i'm not attracted to bodies, but personalities.
I like or don't like people for who they are not what they look like, and that extends to more than just friendship.
I've heard people refer to that as demisexual, though I'm not 100% sure it's the correct term.

According to Urban Dictionary, that is more or less the definition of demisexual ;)

hmmm.... hand't heard that one before.
yeah that would fit.

demisexual
Hmm...I was thinking more along the lines of...

Where teachers can have sex with 13 year old boys, but not 13 year old girls.
Female teachers can.
-
Female teachers can.
got a news story to back that up? i've never heard of any incident like that..
-
got a news story to back that up?
I'd have to go check but Instapundit's on a "teach women not to rape" kick for a while now where nearly every day he links to a story about a female teacher getting in trouble for having sex.
They don't get in nearly as much trouble as male teacher do, as a rule.
-
There's a South park episode that covers that:
Must happen enough to be news, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered.
In fact…
The episode debuted in the wake of the notorious case of teacher Mary Kay Letourneau, the attractive daughter of former California state senator, Republican Congressman and 1972 American Independent Party presidential candidate John G. Schmitz. She was jailed twice for an affair that started when her then-student was 12 years old. They were married, and she became Mary Kay Fualaau, after she was released following six years in prison in 2004.

I mentioned Instapundit above, who's been, as I said, putting up about one post a day for at least a few months, highlighting a female teacher caught having sex with her students. I usually don't bother reading anything more than the exerpts he posts, but as I said, women generally get much more lenient sentences.
-
Preferring to have sex with only yourself as yourself. Note this doesn't mean masterbation.
That's like Naruto right.

FSCKING double standards....

I'm not searching it, but it comes up more often than it should.

True. Where's an SJW when you need one?!

Probably busy objecting to words like

craftaciousnesscraftsmanship

One need not be an SJW to object to words like "craftaciousness."

well it would be more accurate to call me either pansexual or asexual depending on exactly how you define sexuality, but... well close enough, no?
Panromantic asexual?
[edit: *reads further down the thread*
I've heard people refer to that as demisexual, though I'm not 100% sure it's the correct term.
As I understood it, demisexual vs asexual _romantic depends on whether, if you get to know a person and are attracted to them, you would want to have sex with them in a relationship, or just you know, be together and maybe cuddle a bit (of course some asexuals are quite ok with having sex if their partner isn't asexual, whereas for others that would be a no-no because sex is gross and uncomfortable). But I may be wrong.

i'm definitely in the first category there. so demi works for me. ;-)

After taking a good look at @boomzilla's post above, I can affirm that demi works for me too.

sexuality is complicated.
You stick a peg into a hole. There, all complications resolved. Which peg, which hole, and how are implementation details.
Oh, and "being attracted to personalities" doesn't make you a $label_of_the_day-sexual. Just, um... normal. Hopefully.

Well played, sir. Well played.

You stick a peg into a hole.
How about that people who gets turned on by balloons?
-
I searched for 'peg balloon'… found gastric surgery equipment.
Not what I was looking for.
-
gastronomic surgery
This would be what the crazy chefs like Heston Howd'youspellit are up to these days?
Are they surgically altering the diners in some way that makes eating a new and exotic experience, or are we just talking about inserting the food into them by an unconventional route? (Or surgically removing the food so they can eat without absorbing calories?)

Mind you, I wouldn't 100% put it past a guy who strapped a man into an MRI machine while drip-feeding him pure chilli oil.

Thank you. That was exactly what I needed to see.
I can tell already that this is one of those images that burn themselves irrevocably into my mental retina.
