I think it's pretty good that one was posted by a bot.

If i was thinking i would have my reply posted by @sockbot, or at least properly summoned him.
-
@accalia has summoned me, and so I appear.

Of course, my apologies. I was typing too fast.

<foo>2. An Illogial Logic that seems to be completely Illogical until one discovers the beautyiful Logic withing the Illogic, the discovers that the Logic is, in fact, BS
Two issues:- s/withing/within/ (I make this typo a lot, too. I don't know why, but is seems to be one of my favorites.)
- Difficulty parsing the last clause. s/the discovers/then discovers/???
Is the misspelling of "beautiful" intentional? If not, that's a third issue.

Is this new way of breaking quotes (all ends up on 1 line) new? It did it to me earlier but I don't remember seeing it before.

Figures. That's 2 bugs in 5 minutes that I've missed until now, presumably I'm just developing Bug Blindness.
-
It's part of the Discousistent quoting: Usually strip out all formatting, including (sometimes) line breaks, sometimes format it correctly, and sometimes put in formatting that the OP went out of its way to escape.
-
presumably I'm just developing Bug Blindness.
See: Discourse Syndrome. Wait, has anyone created that one yet? Yep, @abarker did in http://what.thedailywtf.com/t/discopaedia/3866/25?u=intercourse
-
Thanks, fixed. I just copy pasted @Accalia's definition in and didn't even proof it.

That was intentional. the others, not so much.

Oh, in that case ...

Toaster
nounPop-up social engineering modal dialogs that show you how to Do It Right or shame you when you are Doing It Wrong. Specifically engineered to prevent topics like this where one user might foolishly attempt to make several distinct posts instead of lumping everything in to one post. They also try to prevent user participation when someone has a lot to say on a topic by making them feel like they are talking too much.
Term was originally coined by @blakeyrat, who to this day insists he did not come up with it and that it is a "stupid fucking term" that someone like him would never use.
Additional note: Toasters intended to shame for posting too much in a topic don't seem to occur for the OP.

As designed. As Discourse was conceived of by someone who loves talking about himself, this is no coincidence.

It should be easy for it to survive. We coin new phrases on a daily basis as new BS pops up.

Shh!!! Pointing this out is a barrier to badge collection!

But the multiple replies in a row toaster does.

No, there's no rule here that you have to like things. Poking fun at Discourse just naturally garners a lot of likes.
