@accalia Time for a fox-squashed-into-a-box sticker? That idea has possibilities.

you'll hate my work's time and attendance software then that i have to login to once a quarter or so to submit time off requests that has
- Infinite Password remembrance. you can never reuse a password
- refuses to tell you the password requirements. it just locks your account and requires HR to unlock it if you try to set the password to one that is not acceptable
- this includes setting a too short password, a too long password, a password that has too few special characters, a password that has the wrong type of special characters, a password that you've used before, a password that anyone else at the company has used before, a password it determines is inappropriate words, a password that contains 'select', a password that includes 'from', or 'where', or '=' or '++'
- Requires you to enter one of your security questions to log in
- Invalidates your security question upon any login
- forces you to set a new security question from a list of questions that are the most stupid and researchable questions ever
- you can't chose the same question you just invalidated
- has a 10 character MINIMUM length for security question answers..... so good luck if the name of the state you were born in was shorter than that....
- requires a password change every year OR after more than 30 days not logging in, whichever comes first
-

@accalia Or use the big ones and tell the browser to scale them. Those who want the full glory will receive it by just zooming in.

Treat it as a second password.
Just make sure you past it together with the tseh kyoo ree tty question into your secret excel list.

@BernieTheBernie funny you should mention that.

Okay, i just need you to tell me the name of the street you grew up.... that can't be the correct answer

i say requests.... they're more notifications of what time i'll be taking off.

turns out it's a good idea to set a MAXIMUM length on passwords that's long enough to contain sufficient entropy to make good passwords for decades to come but not be so long that someone locks up your single threaded ruby on rails app for tens of minutes at a time trying to hash a password that is excessively long
/shrug i may be a stupid fox, but even I set a maximum password length in the apps i operate.
I set a maximum password length is 1024 characters, so it's more than long enough for any human typed password, and still sufficient for high entropy automatically generated passwords without risking some mischievous vixen launching a DOS attack by setting a memey password.

- this is not the 100th . ti's the 1000th.
- and in any case you should have done this for the 1024th

Status: So I think I was accepted into the wholesale program.
On the surface, it seems less organized than any wholesale program I've dealt with before. Manufacturers usually solicit the distributor and the distributor passes along the aggregated list of available products and prices. Here, I'm supposed to submit a list using the product codes on the distributor's retail store (making me dependent on their preorders being posted) and wait to receive a quote. Looks like no games or surprises with shipping at least.
Their MOQ quantity is six objects and at least two of any type. They list 5/1 as a bad example and 4/2 as a good example but 6/0 seems to also fit the rules. The release schedule of the product lines I was interested in makes ordering different items simultaneously a little difficult.
And for the finale, it looks like, from the example posted, the margin I can expect is about 10%. On the upside, it looks like it's free and clear vs 10% off plus shipping and "handling" with Embarrassment Earth. But it's still thin and on a higher priced product than standard retail toys.
So I don't know. I might try a small order when something new is announced. Or I could just as soon forget about it as well.

status: rapidly proving how bad I am at stealth. Luckily I'm in "peaceful" mode so enemies at the moment pretty much take only a few hits with an axe.
In other news, probably going to hack in a tonne of resources into my inventory, because despite the low difficulty I'm just not into quick reflex responses and would rather just tank everything....

It's one of AMD's deCeleron equivalents from ~15 years ago. I'm sure it sucked then too, just like the single core Celerons.
CPU-World says it was pretty overclockable and might have a second working core that you can fool the BIOS into enabling. Perhaps you can make it somewhat better!
