If you crack the firmware, you could then probably send a signal by modulating said current

Consider freezing. Maybe use an inverse Einstein pump instead of lungs. Have you tried an ammonia-based metabolism?

I doubt it too, but it's electric and stupid powerful for the form factor. The creator took a commuter cart design and put lots of power in it.

That's electrical power into the motors, not useful power to the wheels.According to TFA, the motors can draw up to 2000 A @ 300 V @ 0 RPM. That's 600 kW. (
The will take their word for the conversion to horsepower.Windows calculator says it's 804.6 hp, so close enough.) If you welded the axles so they wouldn't turn, it would indeed consume 805 hp of electrical power until something melted or broke. However, the at 0 RPM, the efficiency is 0; you have a ridiculous amount of torque, but no rotation and therefore no power output. As the motors start rotating, both the current and torque drop very quickly, at roughly 1/speed. The useful power to the wheels starts at 0 hp @ 0 MPH, peaks at some value (less than 805; at a guess maybe 300–400) at some low speed, and falls again as speed increases. At high speed, they switch the way the motors are connected to the controller, to reduce the loss of high-speed torque, so the power gets a bump up where that switch happens, but still nowhere near 805 hp.

That's a sport bike in a car suit, far as I can see from here. Probably 1/9th less suicidal this way.

Couple of those are pretty standard for the time. "Knocker-up of workpeople" was someone who went around and provided wake-up calls (often by throwing rocks at windows) to people who didn't have alarm clocks. "Electric bath attendant" would have worked at those spas where the treatment baths were electrified to provide what was then thought to be a therapeutic tingle. "Emasculator" may have been the preferred term for a veterinary adjunct who gelded animals.
Most of them, though, were probably from people who felt it their place in life to demonstrate the common view that the British have no sense of humour.

@boomzilla Makes me think "Dutch last names". Ref:
Last names were introduced along with central civil registry by Napoleon. Many people registered under 'joke' last names.
Later on, when the reinstated Dutch government decided to stick with the system, some families got the spelling of their last name changed to be less embarrassing.
