@Gustav “cooking from chilled” still changes the nature of the thing, e.g. cheese melts in the heat, but yes, point made.
Reversibly, tho. Making tea is actually more like cooking, as it involves a change that can't be readily reversed.

Amazon Senior VP of Devices & Services Dave Limp wrote to his department's staff today in a memo posted publicly by Amazon.
Fortunately, his first name isn't Richard.

And Gwen Ashburn.

@BernieTheBernie Our sysadmin from our startup days has said when it came up that he'd have made an exception to the usual naming convention in such cases.

What is this and why is it funny? That looks like a close-up of some sort of drive connector, but I can't place it.
-
@Mason_Wheeler it's the power connector for one of the new NVIDIA cards that have a distressing tendency to melt the wires and start fires due to power draw on inadequate connectors.
-
@Benjamin-Hall This is actually a picture of the connectors used by AMD. They use dual 8 pins connector, instead of Nvidia's 16 pins connector

@TimeBandit said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:

If this works, it would be the long-sought all-zucchini method of disposing of zucchini, a major breakthrough in zucchini disguise technology.

I think it's cucumber, which is halfway decent raw. For an all-courgette method of dispensing of courgette, I recommend grilling the slices. Though it works better with some herbs.

@dangeRuss Anna Doruch, or Ania for short.

Ugh. I much prefer raw zucchini over raw cucumber.

Must be that special Polish definition of "short"

@LaoC diminutive would be more accurate but I didn't want to scare Americans with a long word.
