Times have changed, our threads are getting worse
They don't have words in titles, just this unicode that's cursed
Should we blame the forum mods?
Or society at large?
Or should we blame the posts in the garage?
No!

In my research, two of those icons are from Font Awesome, and the Reply All doesn't got an equivalent in regular emoji while the hand pointer can be replaced with .

Youβll live to regret this when I figure out how to put emojis in a thread title.

This can only mean one thing: all is lost, @Gribnit has won and the Great Ancients will once again rule the world.

Huh. Both have it here for me:
- Chrome:
-
- Noto Color EmojiβLocal file(5 glyphs)
-
- Noto Sans Symbols2βLocal file(3 glyphs)
-
- ArialβLocal file(1 glyph)
-
- Noto Sans CJK SCβLocal file(1 glyph)
- Firefox:

- FreeSerif

- Noto Sans CJK SC

- Symbola
-
- Twemoji Mozilla

@boomzilla Didn't have the noto fonts installed. Installing them gave me the very necessary double-left-arrow symbol that had clearly been missing from my life.

@hungrier Huh. I figured they'd be the new "improved" style

@loopback0 I guess those are just for emoji reactions. Messages use normal ones

@hungrier it seems if you type them using the OS emoji keyboard you get the OS emojis but if you use the Teams emoji keyboard you get the Teams ones. On iOS Teams at least.
I figured Teams would just replace them with its own.

Ah, much better

Also, while looking at the teams emoji picker, I found this:

Can you pick reactions from the whole Teams emoji list? Over here, it only shows a choice of six. Those six include three positive-ish emojis, which means that at least 50% of the space is wasted.

I can't really see the usefulness of that (apart from enjoying your wallpaper?), given that you can't even click on a shortcut while it's visible.
I have a couple of shortcuts that open windows and using them is always annoying (then why do I leave them as shortcuts???!!?) because they're hidden by all other windows. The most convenient way to get to them is to minimise everything by clicking the bottom end of the taskbar, which minimises everything. But while clicking again the taskbar restores all windows where they were, this only works when no new window was opened in between. So I click whatever shortcut, a new window opens, and... I can't restore all the other windows the way they were without clicking them all one by one. Ugh.
