@topspin probably held up trying to print trigger actuation mechanisms for everything but the Claymore.
Gonna want to upgrade from packing tape to flexi tape on the chainsaw someday.
But I gotta imagine would at least take the furniture off of that automatic rifle. Give her some credit.

Highlighted comment:
That's what I do but not to get out of her asking, "why?"
I attempt to simplify concepts and then ask if she understands some words and if not define them.
She is really lacking in the physics and calculus. Science and math are best subjects.
She's 9.

Rayleigh fine and dandy but don't you go indoctrinate our kids with full-spectrum refraction phenomena!

Those directions aren't random! Their directions are determined by simple rocket science. It ain't rocket science.

Have I dreamt this or was applying an Apple logo sticker to hackingtoshes something people did/do to conform to an OSX licensing requirement?

You either dreamt it or it was one of those internet rumours.

Well, the macOS licence does say “Apple branded equipment” and damn near every bit of kit I’ve ever bought from Apple included stickers, and I suppose if it’s has an Apple sticker on it, it is Apple branded therefore making the licensing valid.
-
@Arantor That's the justification I've heard, yes.

I'm not sure it's even but it's not what the words in the license mean.

There's a circular depression in one's soul
-
@loopback0 the words say “Apple branded”, an official Apple-produced sticker on it is not Apple branding?
It doesn’t say “equipment produced by Apple” nor “branded by Apple”, it says “Apple branded”.
It’s absolutely not the spirit of the wording for it to mean that. But I think if you had the time and money to fund the legal case for it, you might find that Apple needs to change its wording there.
Especially this is funny because when Safari on Windows was still a thing, it also had that term in its licence meaning that virtually everyone who used Safari on Windows wasn’t actually authorised to do so, because Apple forgot to remove that term.
-
@Arantor said in Things that remind you of WDTWTF members:

It doesn't result in the item being Apple branded in the same way that buying a BMW badge from BMW and sticking it on an Audi doesn't make the resulting car BMW branded.
It's a point because Apple don't care about hobbyists running macOS on Hackintoshes.

@topspin
At least the important things can run on it.
