@Tsaukpaetra Fixed.
I realized it was not a very clever joke.
Never, ever do that.

@Gribnit As you wish.

How can they claim it was painted hundreds of years ago when the 9gag watermark is right there? 9gag has only existed for around 15 years.

I've always wanted a swearing parrot but they are too much commitment. They live like 70 years by the time I die my kids will be tired of it and stop letting my grandchildren to come to visit.
Oh, and husband DOES. NOT. WANT.
To whom shall I bequeath it to?

I am in this picture. Had the week off. Did... Very little.
I did.... well, half of my laundry is done! Not folded yet though...
Is folding laundry ever done. I think it multiplies while we sleep.

Not to mention, those types of bubble wands are definitely not period-accurate...

It's done in waves. Never ends, but you can determine cycles.

They are also very intelligent. A cafe near where I grew up had an African Grey which would say "Hello" to arriving customers and "Hey asshole did you pay?" to leaving customers.

A restaurant in Old Mesilla (the original Mexican village around which Las Cruces, New Mexico was formed) had caged mynahs in the entry lobby. From years of having people trying to get them to talk and not being able to hear their utterances clearly, the birds got very good at saying "what?".
(The restaurant, which also had a tank of piranha at the entrance, is in the structure of what was once a major station on the Butterfield stagecoach line.)

Thanks a lot, asshole.

@topspin because there are no other explanations, asymptomatic cases don’t exist and even people who have mostly spent the last 2 years isolated can still catch it because it lives on surfaces and you still have to touch surfaces other humans have touched unless you literally are self-sufficient in all basic requirements.

@topspin I’m just saying—

@dkf I haven’t been keeping up with the science; it moved/moves too fast and I only have so many spoons per day, it was not critical for me to retain that knowledge. If the science now understands better, I am happy to be corrected.

@Arantor That particular bit was sorted out relatively early on. It's transmitted by a very fine aerosol, which is next to impossible to prevent (though masking helps a lot if it covers both nose and mouth). The good part is it disperses rapidly outside unless you've got very large crowds, and proper ventilation helps a lot inside buildings.
The aerosol does go on surfaces, but the infectivity drops extremely quickly when it does. That route's impact on transmission is consistently negligible even with all the variants.

Hmmm, could I be a jet fighter? I don't find roller coasters scary, some are more exciting than others but not scary. Regardless, I only scream if I choose to so my friends don't think I am bored.

Anything you want, I'm told. But perhaps start with being a somewhat less extravagant military aircraft - like a helicopter. See if you like the general idea

uh ... that is the wrong way around ... helicopters are worse then jets

If it was going to happen anywhere, it would be an airport there

Exactly how quickly is that? Because things like door handles get touched by a lot of people in rapid succession. Hospital doors... Restaurant doors... Hamburger place doors...

Given that early morning drinking is normal at airports...I wouldn't be surprised.
