Some items are too small to create a thread for each of them, but do we have a collection thread for them already? I did not see one.
So I want to start here with:Night-Time Delivery
The Deutsche Post delivered a parcel at 3:04 AM. Wow!
I did not find it in my post box...
The postman delivered it at a neighbor.
Well, at that a time during the night, i.e. performing his duty somnambulistically, such minor errors may happen.

Oh, you misread that. The "question mark" is also called the "null conditional operator". Just in case Microsoft could be null, well you know, that will prevent a NullPointerException when trying to access its VisualBasic property, and so on.

I used to think that "STD" is short for Sexually Transmitted Disease. But what about
Does that mean that I have to arrive at the check-in counter for my flight just before getting an STD?
I am some what confused.
-
@BernieTheBernie It's an airline, so they want to be explicit about what they're doing and its result.
-
@BernieTheBernie Scheduled Time of Departure.
On the other hand, it's Thailand.

-
@HardwareGeek If that was the name of a real newspaper I would read it

Bernie opened the highlights page of the current issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, https://www.pnas.org/content/117/7/3341
There is also a section "Similar Articles", and well, there seems to be more than just one issue:

Hi Sophos! Are you really sure that someone needs a Bitcoin Miner removal tool for Windows 2000/XP/2003?

Status: I guess I need to mine more minerals...

No, it's automatic now, set by GPO.
-
@Tsaukpaetra How did that GPO come to be?

By my hand was the GPO created, such care and deliberation was used to ensure everyone gets a little more B in their lives....

In order to listen to Czech radio, you have to fix their Drupal installation first:
I hope they'll be able to czech that out quickly...

Speaking of AMBER alerts, my weather app started showing me this timely message earlier today:
Sure, let me just get the flux capacitor out of storage
e: If anyone is worried the boy was found safe

Now playing on the radio, a piece with a rather unusual title:

I don't like that song, it sounds too compressed to me.

How appropriate.

"Details"
-
@hungrier Why do you have four
apt
-derived app stores?
-
@TwelveBaud You'd have to ask John Ubuntu about that; I don't think I added any apt-ish stores myself

Consistency? Meh!

And I'm betting that since it's US, you still have to add tax, handling costs, shipping, and tip to the cashier before you get the final price of about $150?
