Graphics things require a real graphics card I guess.
Anything requiring 3D graphics beyond rendering desktop effects will need a proper graphics card. But that's fine, because you can give a real GPU to a VM! All that you need is...
- To run Linux as your main OS
- Have two graphics cards in the system
- Preferably a HEDT system.
- At least one Radeon GPU (because Nvidia is a PITA)
- Run Qemu/KVM for virtualization
- Activate arcane kernel modules and BIOS settings for IOMMU support
- Look up the system IOMMU groups and hope your MB has them set up sane
- Make sure the second GPU gets the PCI stub driver assigned to it instead of the normal one
- Plenty RAM so you can make a hugepages pool for the VM
- For best harddrive performance, give a drive controller to the VM too
- For ease of using USB stuff, give the VM its own USB controller too
- Configure the VM properly with good CPU pinning helps
- I hope you know how to check CPU topology to do the previous point if you have hyperthreading/SMT
- Have two screen, two keyboards, two mice etc...
- Install the guest OS and do all the configuration to make it run properly
- If using an Nvidia GPU in the guest, have extra fun disabling all VM acceleration stuff to make the GPU driver not see it's running in a VM
And with all that done, it should be working fine!

I always chuckle that virtualization can be so easily detected. So much scare about how viruses and whatever could completely ensconce your machine inside a hypervisor and you can't tell. This warning puts my fears to rest.
Normal virtualization stuff don't try hard to get hidden. I don't think viruses are undetectable, but I guess they try harder, and they are simpler, they probably just redirect most stuff to the real hardware.

helped a mate out and machined a new tie rod for him so he could pass inspection without paying 9000 euro for a parts car to yank the tie rods out of because the make and model of the care are both long defunct? Well it's your fault the damn thing broke ten years later after being neglected for even the most basic of maintenance in the intervening time...... oh and it can't possibly be the concrete bollards the friend smashed into at 200kph.... while being blitzed out of his mind on the latest batch of canabis and mushrooms..... nope. the tie rod is what is at fault.

But it's the distro that will blow Windows and MacOS out of the water next year!
It doesn't even run natively on Mac hardware unless you want to run it off a USB drive.

Yada yada, it's in Russian and most jokes are very Soviet-specific. Other than that you'll notice it makes about as much sense as the original script.

Packed full of references to Russian culture (or often lack of culture) and USSR-era movies, even to my generation (ass-end of the 80s) are funny not so much that they are, but because two previous generations have been tirelessly quoting them in everyday situations.
