So.......
Out of curiosity, is there any way to see how many likes users have given out? I've figured out how to see uses with the highest total rep (
ORDER BY MAX(likesReceived-dislikesReceived) DESC
) and I was wondering if there's an equivalent stat forlikesGiven - dislikesGiven
?It would be interesting to see who gives the most karma points....
-
@Vixen the answer is @Tsaukpaetra. Next question.

I mean that's abundantly obvious, but who is #2*?

Apparently it's privileged information.

Even then, you don't get a count, just a list sorted by most recent

We have a thread that's going to totally screw that statistic up anyway.

in theory it'll break both statistics in the same way (for users who participate) so its effect should be able to be statisticed out of the aggregate?

Users can participate an arbitrary number of times.

I would also like to see likesGiven/postsRead. This way you can tell whether they give out their likes cheaply, and thus can reasonably decide the magnitude of the warm fuzzy you should get from the like.

postsRead
This isn't . The individual has-been-seen status of posts is not stored anywhere!
-
# of upvotes given by user 1 is
db.sortedSetCard('uid:1:upvote');
# of downvotes given by user 1 is
db.sortedSetCard('uid:1:downvote');
So
const netVotesGiven = await db.sortedSetCard('uid:1:upvote') - await db.sortedSetCard('uid:1:downvote');
The individual has-been-seen status of posts is not stored anywhere!
NodeBB stores a single value per topic per user to determine where a user has left of a topic. It is used used to take you back to that index when you re enter the topic.

So...... not something that one without database access could get..... right.
Well then..... do I try to fix that.... or do I decide I'm not really prepared to wear a pair of linked silver bracelets that clash horribly with my fur?
Decisions.... decisions......

@Vixen It's rumoured that PRs are accepted. Although I think publicly exposing this sort of thing might not be

@Vixen You could try asking administrators @PJH or @ben_lubar to run that query?

-
@barisu , not only do you grace us with your presence in this dark side of the internet, but you carry the Trolleybus Mechanic badge?
-
@Zecc It's a NodeBB
bugfeature where if you join a group, and you don't have a yet, that group is instantly selected as your . I'm guessing he just never bothered to deselect it.

Not @PJH. @ben_lubar could probably do it. Also, we don't run Mongo so the details might be different. Ben did some stuff like this back in the day:

And yet I have yet to lay down. Something seems wrong with the conception I've been given...

@Tsaukpaetra do you sleep upright?!

That might help, but the harness doesn't properly support that position...
I think I need a new one anyways, lying face-up isn't working for me anymore...

The commands are using the javascript database object so they would work on all dbs. If you want to get it directly from the database someone has to run psql queries to count those entries.

This is just personal preference, but I like using SQL over loading the entire database into memory.

I'm not an admin (or mod for that matter.) Haven't been for quite some time.
