You must be new here.
Wherever practical, fixed document icons are replaced by thumbnails of
the content, making documents easier to identify and find.For Windows Vista, use thumbnails for files holding content that is
visually distinct at small scale, such that users can directly recognize
the file they are looking for. (Use the Windows Thumbnailing
application programming interface for this.)Even Microsoft gets it.

Needs some tweaking to hit the icons not marked with the
.fa
tag, like bookmarks.*.quote-button:before, *.fa:before, *.read-icon:before { content: "\f023" !important; }
It messes up the
quote reply
floater layout a bit, but it does change the icon
-
You forgot the WYSWNBWYENWYG editor's buttons.
-
I particularly like Tracking. That looks like the kind of thing Jeff might take on board
-
There's more than just Bookmarks that need to be hit.
All of the post editor icons, the quote reply, the quote controls in the "in-reply-to" block, etc.
Given just those three, here's what I came up with (and fixing the spacing a bit on quote reply):
*.fa:before, *.read-icon:before, .quote-controls .back:before, .quote-controls .quote-other-topic:before, .quote-button:before, #wmd-button-row button:before, #reply-control .toggler:before { content: "\f023\00a0" !important; }
EDIT: Added the toggler on the post editor.
-
Version 0.3:
to the test team… ;)*.fa:before, *.quote-button:before, *.read-icon:before, *.wmd-button:before { content: "\f023" !important; }

Hanzo'd.

Rejected. @RaceProUK is using less code.

Version 0.4:
*.back:before, *.fa:before, *.quote-button:before, *.read-icon:before, *.toggler:before, *.wmd-button:before { content: "\f023" !important; }
And that should do it!

*.:before{ content: "\f023" !important; }
I fixed it
possibly. I don't do CSS

Fucked if I know. Like I said, I don't do CSS. I don't even know how to test it

almost zen isn't it?

It's real pretty.

The discodevs didn't get it.
Oh, like how they don't get that the quoting behaviour of their product is so bizarrely specified that it may as well be broken as far as any user is concerned.
Filed under: seriously, I would have considered using Discourse for a forum of my own until I actually tried to use it...

Is it glass shaped? Are you trying to tell me I can't tell the difference between 30 and 80?
What if it was BC? I'm sure that's what the sign says.

This is how you advise against something.

My wife is Chinese, and she'll tell you right out.
I'm a woman, and I'm Chinese, that's two counts against my driving ability, you've been warned.
I find it funny that it's the white people who are offended by this, almost as if they are standing in place for the Chinese people, when in fact the Chinese people mostly find this funny.
But then again, that's the common theme these days. To get offended for someone else, so you can use them as a poster 'person' for your cause, so that you feel special.
Well, do you feel special?
Now that you made everyone else miserable?

Can't speak for the nationality, but according to UK insurance statistics, women are better drivers than men; they make less claims, and for less money on average ;)
That's why they had insurance premiums half that of men. Well, until the EU shoved their huge arseholes in the way with their 'equality at the expense of fairness' BS.
-
Only because when a man sees a woman coming down the wrong lane, he prefers to just take the ditch. ;P

Do they drive the same number of miles on average? Because your evidence doesn't back your assertion currently.
-
I know for us, if she's alone, she'll drive. But if we're together, I'm stuck with the driving.
So by math, I drive much more often than her.
But of course, insurance companies aren't concerned about who the better driver is.
Only who makes the least claims.

I need to write "[citation needed]" on such a sign if I ever go there.
-
I'm not sure how relevant it is that that reddit dates from three years ago, and I've literally never seen that badge on any car ever... I suspect shenanigans...
-
I think the second link explains that you can buy the badge. So, fake badge.

If you actually came here, you probably wouldn't ;P

Honestly? No idea. But averaged out across the population, it's probably comparable.

There used to be a proverb in Dutch, which translates as: A gentleman in traffic is often a lady. You don't hear such things often anymore though.

Citation needed.
Happy to provide; unfortunately, access to the data I need is behind a paywall, so unless you're willing to help out with the cost, you'll just have to stick with me repeating the claims made by the AA and the RAC.

I care not for Alcohol Anonymous and... uh... Rent-A-Center? I guess?
Being a national organization (or chain of furniture rental stores) doesn't mean your numbers are any better than some random schlub on the internets.

I'd answer that, but I just read the word "demutualised" and now my brain is jell-o.

If my ex-wife lived in the UK, she might single-handedly skew those national statistics the other way.

So the sign is an 80 that got cut to 30? So drinking actually makes you go slower, making you less of a danger to everyone involved?
Well, in that case, we should make drinking before driving mandatory.
