Tales from Stack Exchange - Coworker is lying about having kids. What should I do?

Also from the linked topic...
For example, we recently attended a two-hour meeting with 18 people from 9-10 different departments to discuss the position, the color and the label of a single button in a web page.

And then we told the native Windows people to update their program to make it look/act the same because we want everything the same on all platforms. (I really wish we had designers who knew how Windows works.)

@loopback0 We once had a one-hour meeting involving 8 - 10 engineers, regarding what kind of coffee pot to get to replace the one that just broke. At the end, someone decided to get a $30 from Wal-Mart to "save money."

Gotta keep the engineers fuelled.

Well the funny thing is after all of that, only two of us even use the new coffee pot and everyone else brings coffee from home in the morning. (Even then, sometimes I bring coffee from home because I prefer really dark roasts and the other guy prefers medium roasts). So I'm not sure why we had every engineer in the office involved in the first place.

Code reviews require sign off from everyone? So obviously everything else does too.

I was in an funny meeting about a font the other day. We ended up dropping it because the top of an "l" might overlap with the bottom of a "g" once in a blue moon and the designer refused to adjust line spacing.

@PJH there's a seven-legged spider living in my bathroom (yes this is Australia) and every time I see it I think of 27b/6.

There was a long winded response in there from someone saying that unfortunately there is not one manager per worker. What the hell?
Everything is relative. Maybe their company has more managers than actual people doing work...
I used to have a whole bunch of Non Sequitur comics about that cut out from the newspaper. Like this one:
Is that @Tsaukpaetra ?
