@lb_ No, that looks like full justification to me. Why one would ever do such a horrible thing, I'm not quite sure.
-
@lb_ Now I can't unsee it. Thankyouverymuch. grumble

@rhywden Cue picture of Rosie OโDonnell talking about kerning.

Are there two spaces after "administrator"?
No, just one that's twice as wide.

Damn, there goes that idea for allowing bounce-back emails to be forwarded to a Google Groups address...
Granted, the current bounceback message reads "user not found", but it most certainly does, just not as a first-class citizen I guess.....

Can't be full justification, because

.Ah. It's justification then. My favorite.

@tsaukpaetra "Bouncing babscon" sounds like one of those weird cartoon exclamations.

Yes, it makes my internal personal perform a weird cartoon exclamation when I get bouncebacks. Then again, apparently the list is incapable of receiving them as intended....

Chrome removed the ability to mute individual tabs. Now the mute option mutes all tabs of the same domain, and it remembers across restarts. No idea why they thought that was better.
The AutoMute extension still works the same way it always did.

Yes, and they added its functionality to core.
-
@ben_lubar Except apparently they didn't according to the conversation you just replied to buddy.

You can mute tabs that are playing sound, unmute tabs that are muted, and mute by default based on domain name.

well, this is an error I've never seen before...

Tell me, how do I un/mute a single tab in vanilla Chrome, without un/muting all tabs for the domain?

Left click on the sound icon. I may have enabled something in about:flags to let me do that.

Yes, that's a setting, in an arcane flags page. Nothing a normal user would discover.

I'm not sure if it's enabled by default now. It wasn't when I enabled it a year ago.

There is this webpage where I need an account so I can book laundry times (and pay for them). As with most of these pages, I randomly generate a new password just for that site. Randomly, I get a password that contains a '%'. Account creation works fine, but I can't log in afterwards.
Cue cursing. Anyway, the site has this slightly amateurish feel over it, so on a hunch, I use the password-reset function to change the password -- same password, except with the '%' replaced with a '-'. Now it works just fine.
Hmm... is that the smell of SQL burning in the morning?
-
book laundry times
this sounds futuristic...is this for your apartment or something?
-

Yeah, "or something", I suppose.
The second part is that, after booking, I get some sort of QR code to wave at the machine in hopes that it will recognize me as the authorized user. I'm mildly suspicious at the idea, but then again, if I want to have clean clothing to wear, I don't really have much choice other than play along.
-
-
@tsaukpaetra The QR code doesn't seem to change between consecutive bookings, so I think the answer to that has to be "no", sorry. :-/
I'll check what it contains in a sec.

Google Now had something relevant for once...

Indeed. Actually, it's really boring. You get a link to the QR code that looks like to following
https://example.com/makeQRcode.php?code=<12 digit number>&user=<6 digit number>
The QR code itself just contains the same number given in
code
in the URL.

You're one of these
sequelsquirrel people, aren't you?Actually I've never been able to settle on a consistent way of saying it. I probably pronounce the letters individually most often, but since most people don't do that I also use "sequel" when I'm talking to other people and I remember to. I've always felt that if you wanted to make it pronounceable, "squeal" would be the best way to go, but there unaccountably seems to be no support for this position.

I like squeal best and use it from time to time. The languages are kindof like the squeal of something that is dying from compression so it fits quite well.

Today in "Fuck you Mark Spencer!"
Asterisk's ini-like files support templates in the form of:
[template](!) somedefault=foo otherdefault=bar [actualEntry](template) someval=blah otherdefault=baz
See that
otherdefault=baz
line? Yeah, that should work. That does work. Mostly. Sometimes. If Asterisk feels like it.It seems that it doesn't feel like it when setting queue ring strategy (ringall, round robin variants, etc.)
No override for you! Come back next year! Oh, who am I kidding, we'll break it again in a year even if we patch it now...
