@accalia Again, if you ever see such an ad, I'd appreciate a link to the video it's attached to. If I'm going to sit there obsessively refreshing a video to try to sneak something past my ad blockers, I'd at least like to know that it really does have an ad attached.
As you say, most people do try to monetize their YouTube content and yet it remains the case that since first installing Adblock Plus I've never seen a pre-roll ad get past it. If they do just sneak through randomly, I would have expected to have seen at least one. I mean, my YouTube choices are kind of esoteric but they're not that esoteric.

Youtube Red, sorry. ads don't exist on that site for me.

YouTube -> YouTube Red: pay moneys to Google
RedTube -> RedTube You: install webcam

I just let a pre-roll ad run a few seconds while I was yet again turning autoplay off.
I then pressed the "Skip this ad" button, which meanwhile became available.
It skipped to the end of the video and it showed me the timeout screen before jumping to another video. Because autoplay turned itself on again.Makes me want to write a browser extension to rewrite all

Nope :P
A to micro B, as this photo shows:
And let's face it, that's how they should have been designed in the first place.
-
@accalia I wish I had grease monkey on my phone browser

@RaceProUK said in The Official Good Ideas Thread™:
Nope
right, but it's still effectively USB-c in functionality, and given that USB2.0 is on the fade with a lot of devices needing more data rate and the horrible design of USB3.0 Micro-b plug USBc is going to be ubiqitous in very short order, rendering this product moot
-
@accalia True.
Still a good idea though ;)

$105 for a shirt is expensive, no doubt about that, but it's still a good idea. Just needs to be cheaper.
