We don't really have an app; we have a bot for that.
Buuut....since it's already node it could probably be made into a nodebb plugin fairly easily.

@Lorne-Kates Interesting. So, is it the same as this: https://github.com/djensen47/nodebb-plugin-dice-bot or something custom? Would love to have the feature on my forum.

Sure, it's absolutely that, you should totally just install some random piece of code on your forum-- is the answer you'll get from the person you replied to, who is not the same as any of the people giving you legitimate advice or pointing out actual codebases or who are the ones who have written the dice rolling bot.
Also, fuck you, give me money.
-
@pfaff At the risk of being helpful, the repo you're looking for is here:
If you need help setting it up, I'm sure the @sockdevs will be happy to help ;)

100% custom. I've never seen that plugin before in my life :)
Our bots can do many things... like run games of Mafia. Also, my dice roller supports the
x
operator, like6x4d6
to roll d20 stats

@xaade it appears that the actual rolls are capped at 100d1000. It's adding the +65535 without any problem, though.

I put the key string in ASCII order, so my answer was objectively the correct one.

That makes the most sense, but I don't see the list of individual die results anywhere but here.

That's not really a unique code. Although one could still use it to compose a unique ode, I suppose.

works in the most recent FF versions natively. It works in previous FFs with the forum shim. Native and the shim don't appear to get along, however.

You wouldn't happen to have a userscript or stylish rule that might be affecting it, would you? It works on my FF (and I disabled the userscript just to make extra sure).
There was a bug that was affecting FF which was caused by
<summary>
having adisplay: block
style, IIRC (the correct style should bedisplay: list-item
). But that has been corrected... or has it?...wtf. Apparently it has both rules -- and they're equally specific -- so it should be using the one that comes last, which is the correct one (check the CSS file's line numbers in the screenshot). Apparently your browser is special...?

There's no arrow. v50.0.2. Looks like Bootstrap is to blame —
Perhaps the fact that I'm using the Darkly skin is to blame?
