@boomzilla also, "scarfolk council water boarding" at the bottom (maybe it's only funny because I don't know what water boarding is other than torture)
It's a deliberate joke on that, the correct phrase would be 'water board'.

The problem with this is finding space for a ring 5 meters in diameter. Perhaps there could be a reduced version.

Short answer: no.

If only they’d treated the meaningful vote more like a meaningful vote and less like tantric legislative foreplay before a full 29 March climax

@Rhywden I LOLed.

I was about to question the topic (other news ) until I read:
he’s signed a deal with Liechtenstein, a country with a population roughly the size of Liechtenstein
That was unexpectedly funny for such a blunt joke.
-
@topspin Given that Liechtenstein is one of a half-dozen countries in the world without an airport, and it's land-locked with the EU all around, what is the point?

It's even funnier once he starts beating that horse.
-
@dcon I'd have gone for "a population less than that of some English villages".

Admittedly the whole article was pretty good, in a sad kind of way.
Clarifications of the withdrawal agreement wouldn’t be enough, nor would changing the pagination to make it look slightly smaller, as the government genuinely did last time.
They are actually run by high-schoolers.

I thought the UK had an agreement for Europe's airspace, so they could always airdrop goods when Liechtenstein wires the money.

@topspin I rather liked that part:
We’re out of plans and moustaches. And if Germany lives up to stereotype they’ll want both.

It is accessible from several airports that are not in the EU, without going through the EU, though, because it borders Switzerland, which isn't in the EU. It is not, however, accessible from any airport outside the Schengen Area, because Switzerland is part of that.

But to be fair, this could be said for just about any code you wrote that's older than a few months. In any language. For any purpose.

Isn't Liechtenstein nearly wholly populated by rich people? Maybe it's a financial services focused thing.

@boomzilla
Ding ding ding! Lichtenstein is, in fact, one of the tax havens of the European world. Personally, I think I'd rather go to the Caribbean, the scenery is better, but I suppose if you need your illicit cash now...

Ask Vatican City? They're even smaller. But at least they're the only country with 11.76 popes per square mile...
