@DogsB that is the dumbest shit I’ve not-read all day. Thankfully it’s still morning.
Meanwhile men:

Some of us can't eat gluten!

@DogsB Exactly in such a case, a sandwitch causes inflammation.

Um, that's a really good thing to do, whether you're missing or not, especially in hot weather.

The Americans letting us down again.
I'm betting a good chunk is just from switching to more sodas and especially energy drinks. Also: coffee doesn't actually taste all that good by itself, which is why God invented sugar and cream. And then energy drinks came along and said "what if we just jumped straight to ultra-sugary without all that faffing about with boiling water?"

Soon: Hiker charged with theft from California's water supply.

The best creams are the flavored ones. My personal favorite is French Vanilla, because the strong flavor overrides the bitterness of the coffee. I don't understand people who like hazelnut creamers. "Yeah! Let's put more bitter into our already bitter beverage!"

I've noticed that "hazelnut" things often treat hazelnut in the same way that Nutella does: by adding more sugar.

coffee doesn't actually taste all that good by itself,
Only if you have terrible coffee or let it stew at too high a temperature for too long.

And I bet you like the flavor of beer and spirits, too. We invented mixed drinks so that we wouldn't have to taste alcohol.

And really dark chocolate as well.

I did have black coffee one time that I thought tasted good as it was.
My dad has discovered that getting a good kind of coffee (I think his preferred brand is Eight O'Clock) and grinding the beans right before percolating it makes for a nice carafe. That's also pretty decent.
I also sometimes (if I'm in the right mood) like coffee-flavored ice cream.

Mmmmmm... dark chocolate.... My wife and I just this morning shared some pieces of 70% dark chocolate.

70%
85% is a bit too much in an eating chocolate — the strength inhibits the taste — but it's great for cooking with.

Depends on the chocolate texture. Most 85+ are kinda "dry" and it is like eating cocoa, but there are brands with very nice smooth texture and those taste great.
