FU NodeBB.

Show us on the doll where VS Code touched you

I use it every day though and very rarely have issues. The SSH Remote feature is excellent.
-
I use it as a glorified text editor with syntax highlighting. It's fine for that, at least
-
I don't see why we should change your mind on that.

I have not used that, but I've thought about it, since a couple of C++ things I maintain I do using Kate over ssh. But fortunately I only rarely need to do anything with them these days.
Otherwise I've been using VS Code to work with Angular stuff and been pretty happy about it. My main complaint is that it refuses to exclude my build directory from auto-import.

Oh, sorry. This here is abuse. For an argument, please ask my colleague next door on the right.

@BernieTheBernie
Oh ... I thought this was the Pedantic Dickweedery departement

@Luhmann we are all pedantic dickweeds on this blessed day

Oh ... I thought this was the Pedantic Dickweedery departementNo, this is the redundant department of redundancy assurance. The department of Pedantic Dickweedery has its department office available 3 offices down, though they'll tell you it's 17.997725 meters in the southward direction on this hallway.

If you're going to give an accurate vector, don't put the precision in just the length parameter. The bearing is 180.0185379°, not “southward”.

Well, those "someones" would be the ones trying to change your mind about VS code.

Yeah. But not much changing happening so far, except for 'works on my machine'.

Proper polar coordinates require a 2nd angle. After all, what if the office was on the 2nd floor?

I just read this and had no fucking clue what you're talking about. Then I read the quotes and figured "who the hell said that?!".
Seems like the thread loaded all postst until @BernieTheBernie's, then put yours directly below it, leaving out all the context for yours. Clicking on the " dkf" in reply to link reloaded the page and fixed things. So OP seems pretty spot on about "FU NodeBB".

I use it for all my bot development. So there's a mark against it.
