@PleegWat Nah, just Gitbub to start faster and show me the issues and code review requests,
so that I can start avoiding them faster.

(I definitely recommend watching this segment and the following one. Analysis of a feature that's next-level , followed by an amazing rant about the IT industry that would 100% belong here.)
Holy fuck, this is the most horrible thing I’ve seen all year.
a crime against humanity
the actual features here are laughably simple compared to the titanic effort that went into them
but why, though?
Well, at least his cynical rant is spot on.
-
@Zerosquare I have to admit. I'm actually impressed. I don't think I could conceive of something that hacky.
-
I kinda appreciated the whole thing. Somebody got to go do things unencumbered by questions like "should we do this?" and "is this a good idea?".
Although, that's a lot of potential wasted on Outlook. Who cares about Outlook?

The next iteration will include FastHub, which can only do GitHub and PortHub.

The business people who get stuck with HP and need a reason to show it off to their management rivals.

People thought unicorns would only appear for a virgin, but in reality, only a virgin would step foot inside there…
-
@kazitor I feel like I’m being offended, just not sure how.

That’s the face my previous owner made when I was sitting in his spot. Now I feel sad.

Listening to a court hearing, setting bond conditions for someone who might or might not get out on bail. In addition to the usual no possession or use of alcohol, no drugs, no weapons, etc., there was one I haven't heard before: No purchase or possession of flammable liquids.
Edit: Apparently, she threw or poured gasoline on her boyfriend. There were no details given in the hearing, so it's unclear to me whether she attempted or succeeded in setting him on fire.

So no owning or use of an internal combustion engine, at least in working condition? Because even the oil is flammable.
-
@Benjamin-Hall $50000 cash bond, no surety, no 10%, so it's probably irrelevant, since she's unlikely to make bail.

I know about this “no kink shaming” rule …
But why?!

@topspin Some of them are quite interesting. Often for very reasons. Some of them are people attempting to represent themselves without an attorney, and usually failing very, very, very badly. Many of these are Sovereign Citizens who simply refuse to accept that laws apply to them and/or that attorneys and judges understand the US legal system better than some random internet BS. Some are incredibly stupid criminals who just can't stay out of trouble to save their lives. Some are just plain bizarre, like the flamboyant trans-woman suing her ex-boyfriend for possession of her surgically removed testicles.

@DogsB There are several channels that put up this kind of content, some with commentary, some without.
https://www.youtube.com/@LawTalkWithMike tends to select (usually) the most , with commentary by an actual lawyer explaining why the plaintiff and/or defendant is being an idiot.
https://www.youtube.com/@RunkleOfTheBailey also features content by a lawyer, in this case ian, although the hearings are often in the US.
https://www.youtube.com/@natalielawyerchick I personally find this host a little irritating, but your taste might be different.Other channels with little or no commentary, generally by non-lawyers:
https://www.youtube.com/@OSGCourtWatch
https://www.youtube.com/@CreedenceandMikey Their courtroom videos are ok, but their livestreams are annoying; they talk non-stop.
https://www.youtube.com/@courtnerds
https://www.youtube.com/@timeservedphil
Edit: A few more:
https://www.youtube.com/@LoneWolfUsul He's not a lawyer. His commentary consists of a text overlay of a googled explanation of a legal term, but he doesn't interrupt or talk over the proceedings.
https://www.youtube.com/@TeamSkeptic
https://www.youtube.com/@peopleincourt
https://www.youtube.com/@MegsCrimeWatch
