@boomzilla what's so hard about throttle, swash, tilt, rudder, and counterthrottle?

Did she divorce him later for mansplaining?

@Karla she was going to but couldn't find the tab with the lawyer's contact info.

Listening/watching a YT video of some crazy-weird modern music that shows the sheet music along with the music audio. The piece starts with the tempo/style/mood direction:
PEDANTICALLY, YET WITHOUT CONFIDENCE

That's not how mansplaining works, sweetie.

I actually did that a couple days ago.
*edit I’ll probably end up posting in the lounge the reason why in a couple days.

@HardwareGeek That's a good working description of DoD.

"Marking task done, period"
That's how some teams around here do it. They just say that the work is done, when it's evident that it's not even started.
My managers know they are lying , but don't do anything about it, because it's 'not our department' or 'those are seasoned employees' and asking questions may 'get uncofortable'.

Isn't your official title "Chief Warthog Officer"?

@Zerosquare haven't gotten around to making one up, TBH.

You put salt and pepper on them before frying?

Salt on their wounds. Yes.... that's a nice image.

If I had a nickel for every time I've seen someone going the wrong way in a roundabout, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Where it happened twice.
This is along a route I could use when I go to/from work.

Same original shoot, then, I assume that'd be the last picture in it

@boomzilla hanging around the door of room 401 until somebody more important shows up is also too subtle.
-
-
@boomzilla We should have a room 404 somewhere at work, I wonder if I can find it.
-
@Atazhaia When I lived in an apartment on the 4th floor, I briefly thought of some funny situations along those lines. E.g. someone visiting 404 couldn't find it, or 403 would be evicted, etc
-
@hungrier 418 can bring a cuppa to the paranoid at the end of the hall, sure. And then there's all the mysterious gaps in numbering. Creepy place.

There's a firetruck around here numbered 404. "Firetruck Not Found" has been a family joke for years now.
-
@hungrier I'm in a room 204. "No content"? Hmm..
I mean that describes me pretty well, but I'm wondering how you'd turn it into a funny joke instead.

Remember, your distance term is zero

What rooms do we have on that floor that I know of?
405 - Method not allowed. I think that's the misc storage closet.
406 - Not acceptable. Small meeting room.
407 - Proxy authentication required. Large meeting room.
410 - Gone. Lab with much expensive stuff. Would be very bad if gone, yes.
