@Gąska I think I actually played this at some point. (other than now)
Edit: and I'm beginning to remember why I didn't particularly like this game. It depends too much on dumb luck for my taste.
"Easy" game:
Found 11 clues out of 17 before running out of time:
The Murderer is:- NOT A Sociopathic Psychopath
- NOT A Greedy Person
- NOT A Hired Assassin
- NOT Furious at the Victim
- NOT A Hypochondriac
- Addicted to Gambling
- A Convicted Felon
What I know about the suspects:
- The ASSISTANT is: Left-handed, A Convicted Felon, Addicted to Gambling
- The CLERK is: Left-handed, Addicted to Gambling, ???
- The LAWYER is: Right-handed, ???, Addicted to Gambling
- The STRANGER is: Right-handed, ???, ???
Guessed the assistant. Wrong! It was the lawyer.
Medium game: five suspects rather than four. After a weak start (two red herrings in a row cost me precious time) I start getting an actually deducible map and clues that eliminate four of the suspects.
Then a hard one: six suspects. Fair map: 17/25 clues found, didn't even run out of time. Lawyer has an airtight alibi, gardener is addicted to painkillers, reporter is a con artist, cousin and spouse are addicted to gambling, so that leave out the art collector friend.
Some friend.

@Gąska I've added Hexologic to my steam wishlist a while ago. Thanks to you I get to play before I buy it :)
Now that I am playing it, it feels familiar. So I wouldn't be surprised if this too I have played a while ago and promptly forgot about it.

@boomzilla The most unbelievable and utopian aspect of the Star Trek universe is how little ads they seem to have.
Like, having a Star Trek-y communicator that talks around the world or with a space ship? Yeah, we can do that. Having said communicator not push ads or the latest facebook-or-whatever trends onto you? Unrealistic.
Also, there's the replicators. They don't involve microtransactions nor stupid pay-for-extras. ("Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" "Special offer: add free-range organic sugar for just 5STB" ...)

I guess you also find the extermination of currencies unbelievable then.

Kinda pointless to push for microtransactions without them, so yes. Unless they want you to pour your latinum into the replicator or something.

@cvi Don't they live in a post-scarcity society? Like money isn't a thing any more.

I used to work for an advertising agency. Plenty of stories from that place.
One that springs to mind was when we were asked to generate "buzz" around an upcoming mobile game, so our staff started writing glowing reviews for it. They got called out because the game wasn't released (or even finished) when they were posted.
(This was before Early Access made that normal.)

They are depicting a warship, even if it is one being used mainly for exploration purposes. I wouldn't expect ads in that environment.
But I would expect everything to be painted in drab and to have exposed pipework everywhere. The look of their corridors is truly unbelievable.
-
@dkf also, none of their admin monitors display any legal boilerplate.

To my recollection it's all still there, just covered in modular paneling. Space is no premium there.
