Windows finally gets a real PTY

@sockpuppet7 Assuming they did anything. Scripts are blocked by default on all windows releases, and overriding them via the registry is usually possible because there's no real reason for them to be blocked.

@pie_flavor you want to buy my a better input nterfacee?
I mean, I'm pretty sure you're voluntarily subjecting yourself to that thing you posted where there's like twelve keys in the area of one finger tip.
s/finger tip/fist/
I dislike that my phone expects me to use my fists to interact with it. I'm not a pony in real life!

You said you're not a pony in real life, which implies you may have a not-real life in which you are a pony. I don't want to know about that other life, nor even whether it exists, TYVM.

Oh, I have sooo many not-real-lives it's hard to consider.
Did you know many of them involve me not being physically present in the not-real-life?

Possibly. You'd have to define life first...

These are the voyages of the life-ship You... It's 120-year journey... Fuck.

I'm trying to decide if you're being optimistic or pessimistic here.

Pessimistic. You know that ship is going to be destroyed way sooner than the mission end date.

Everyone on board is wearing a red shirt?

It offsets that irradiated-green theme the ship is based around.

@sockpuppet7 This thread had a new post just 11 days ago. What are you doing here?
-
Let's hope Windows never adds X11 support, or people will claim it finally got support for graphical interfaces.
-
@anonymous234 I think Ocean's 11 was a good movie, but it wasn't worthy of a sequel
-
@sockpuppet7 I've seen it for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was very fun to watch. The next day I've tried watching Ocean's 12, but turned it off after 30 minutes. It's just so bad.
-
@Gąska we were having such a nice conversation about 11, then you come in and change the subject
-
@sockpuppet7 welcome to the forum.

@heterodox this forum has been running long enough that we've probably had every single possible discussion carried out already.
John Barth told his writing class that one of the oldest pieces of bona-fide cave writing said, "There is nothing left to write. It has all been written."

The other wall of the cave had carvings about vim vs. Emacs.

I hope he wasn't a real teacher - a real teacher ought to know postmodernism is relatively new trend.

To ruin the joke:
"He then taught at Boston University as a visiting professor in 1972–73 and at Johns Hopkins University from 1973 until retiring in 1995."
