Removing write access to the filesystem mitigates most of the trouble, especially if you've also removed write access to most of the database as well. It's not a total defence and I do not claim otherwise, but it sure makes most further attacks exceptionally tricky.
It's the same old argument between having the flexibility to work and the security to not be abused, and we're not about to see the end of that…

The fuck are you on about? All the Framework documentation is as available as ever. In fact every time I browse documentation it defaults to 4.8 and I have to say "no, I'm looking for Core 3.0".
